Logging in to RefWorks Off-Campus for the first time.

Get to RefWorks by:

1. Connect to ISU System via https://webvpn.ilstu.edu

2. Make sure to click START under Network Connect.

3. Go to the RefWorks page located on the Milner Library web site- read it http://www.library.ilstu.edu/page/1266

4. Click on RefWorks User Registration and Login

Log in: Group code RWIllStUthis lets RefWorks know you are with ISU.

Make sure that RW Identifies

you as ISU user.

Click on New to RefWorks.

Create your account

• Use your first name for your user name.

• User your ULID as the log in

• Use any password• Use your ISU email

address

You are in! Look Right and see your User name and ISU!

Next, you must:

1. View the Tutorial2. Wait, did I ask you

to view the Tutorial?

3. No, really, did I forget to ask you to view the tutorials, yes, well, then I need to remind you to view the tutorials!

Future logins:

1. Go to refworks.com2. Click log in3. Under the Remote Access Tab, type

the group code RWIllStU1. rwillstu works also!

4. Login with your user name and password
