Quality Management
Definition: Provides policy and oversight for the Command’s Quality Management System which is based on its products and services. Conducts continuous business process improvement, value stream mapping and process flowcharting. Provides advice, training, coaching and mentoring consistent with the USMC Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Body of Knowledge and ISO 9000 Family of Standards. Maintains the Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) data base at http://ice.disa.mil/index.cfm?fa=site&site_id=713/ • Provides contract oversight to maintain ISO certification • Serve as Program Manager for CPI • Serve as Execution Officer for Command Quality Council

Business Intelligence
Definition: Involves development of decision support tools and the maintenance of data repositories that facilitate decision making on topics such as readiness, net asset posture, equipment accountability and visibility, depot maintenance planning and execution, and other logistics issues. • Sustains a one-of-a-kind master data repository that houses
current and historical logistics information used by decision makers throughout the Marine Corps to support Congressional testimony, audits, and other inquiries
• Sustains the Life Cycle Modeling Integrator with near-real-time support to more than 9000 customers Marine Corps-wide
• Responsible for knowledge management to include oversight of Command Library

Studies and Analysis
Definition: Provides operations research, analytic support, studies management, enterprise performance analysis and enterprise readiness analysis. Blends the understanding of military operations with the application of advanced scientific methods and modeling techniques. Provides enterprise trend analysis, rapid response analytic efforts and formal studies. • Develop Modeling & Simulation Tools which serve as

Logistics AIS Functional Management
Definition: Serves as the Marine Corps sub-functional area manager for Logistics Automated Information Systems and is the Command’s agent to define and interpret logistics functional requirements and determine the impact of proposed systems changes. Provides functional expertise with knowledge of the systems to establish and maintain data integrity in logistics AIS’s. • Information Technology (IT) sustainment and support • IT modernization • IT Portfolio Management
