LogIt

PestPac LogIt is a digital logbook for iPad. This add-on module replaces the 3-ring-binder by taking

all of your important audit paperwork and combining it into one seamless application. LogIt is

specifically designed for pest control companies that service food manufacturing plants and medical

facilities.

Is there a checklist I can use for setting up LogIt?

Prior to your first call with support you can use the following checklist to ensure you are ready to go.

� Confirm you are using an approved iPad device as listed here:

� Install PestPac LogIt from the App Store on your iPad.

� Upload any required site documents to the Document section of Location Detail in PestPac.

� Upload any required technician licenses or certifications to each tech in their Employee Lookup

Table.

� Upload any required Material SDS labels to each material in the Materials Lookup Table.

� If using a logo, upload your transparent image logo file to the Appearance section of LogIt

Setup under the Company menu.

� If using area and device trends, make sure you have areas and devices set up on the locations

you plan to use for LogIt.

How do I install LogIt on my iPad?

From your iPad launch the app store. Search for pestpac or logit (not case sensitive) and tap on the

app to install. You will need to finish the setup steps prior to being able to log in or use the

application.

What settings do I need to configure in PestPac?

Once support has enabled this module for you go to the Company menu and click on LogIt.

Go to LogIt under Additional Modules and check the box to enable LogIt and then Save.

Next go to the Company menu and click on Lookup Tables.

Go to LogIt Users.

Here you will add all of your LogIt users. Click Add User.

Populate the user information and click on Add when complete.

Next go to a location that you are enabling LogIt for. Click on the blue Location number to get to the

Edit Location screen.

From the Edit Location screen, check the box for LogIt. You can also maintain users that will have

access to this location in LogIt. Click Save when finished.

Back on the Location Detail screen click on Documents if you have any to upload that you would like

included in LogIt.

Click on Add Document.

Fill in the document name and click on Choose File to upload the document. Using tags is optional.

Click Save when finished.

You can now choose to Include On LogIt by clicking on No, and it will turn to Yes. You can exit when

done.

If you have tech licenses to load go to Company and click on Lookup Tables.

Go to Employees.

Within the employee lookup table for the tech you want to add a license for go to Documents.

Click Add Document.

Populate the description, expiration date if applicable and upload the file. Be sure to check the box to

Include on LogIt before clicking on Add.

To configure your logo and color within the application go to Company and click on LogIt Setup.

Under Appearance, choose the file you are uploading and select the theme color. Make sure the logo

is a transparent image.

Under Reporting, configure the options you would like available in LogIt for reports.

Under Graphs, you can set up each graph you would like to use in LogIt as well as specify which

locations you would like the graphs to be available for.

You should be all set with the PestPac side settings for LogIt now.

How do I use LogIt once it’s been set up?

Log in to the app on your iPad using the LogIt user email address and password.

Once you are logged in you can select to view Reports or Documents. What shows under each option

will be determined by what you’ve set up in PestPac under LogIt setup, Company Setup and the

individual Locations that are set up for use with LogIt.
