TIMELINE OF EVENTS

1981Dale Monson formed the company Botany Bay Shipping Agency on the 10th January 1981 together with Tanker operator, Botany Bay Tankers.Dale worked by himself for the first 3 years handling some 50 tankers with the first vessel “Botany Trojan” calling Kwinana on the 20th January 1981.

16th July 1981Milestone – First alumina vessel “Bergnes” called Kwinana, Western Australia.

1984 First sales and marketing trip by Dale Monson to Europe.

1985 Purchased Aru Shipping and opened an office in Singapore. Attended to dry dock, Palm oil and tanker Vessels.

1988 Business attends to 18 port calls per month with 6 Staff.

1990Name change to Monson Agencies Pty Ltd. 1994

Opened office in the Port of Bunbury, Western Australia to attend to Alumina Vessels.

2003Business attends to 70 Port Calls per month with 12 Staff

Name change and re-branding to Monson Agencies Australia

Expanded our business Australia wide and opened offices servicing all Australian Ports: Dampier Mackay Gladstone Brisbane Townsville Newcastle Melbourne Adelaide.

2010 Opened offices in Indonesia, China and Malaysia.

Business attends to 180 Port Calls per month with 40 staff Australia Wide.

2011Opened offices in Port Kembla, Port Lincoln, Geelong and Geraldton

2012 Business grows again, attending to 250 port calls per month with 70 staff.

2013 Growth continues with our business attending to 300 port calls per month with 85 staff.
