■ History
► Proposal presented to the Board: June 2010
- stimulate entrepreneurship amongst students- teach them how to write a good Business Plan- teach them how to present their ideas to an audience - teach them how to work in a team and combine each member’s strenghts- develop their communicational skills needed as an entrepreneur- and last but not least, create the opportunity to
compete with international students

Try-out on the annual conference at Maastricht
NIBS Business plan competition 2011
■ Try-out in Maastricht■ Only two NIBS members
participated: Rotterdam and Leuven
■ An international jury selected the winner in Maastricht=> goal: motivate more members to participate
=> We sent in december 2011 the guidelines and rules of this competition to all the NIBS members (with an added letter)
This year 2012
■ we received at the end of January the registration from 8 NIBS members
■ each university organised their own national selection (in Belgium Rotary of Leuven)
■ on April 10th we received the names of the national selection but only from 4 NIBS members:►From Lahti Finland►From Leuven Belgium►From Rotterdam Netherlands►From Amsterdam Netherlands
■ ……
This year 2012
■ An international jury read the 4 business plans. Thanks!
■ Selected 2 teams based on criteria developed by Leuven and Rotterdam
■ The 2 selected teams are from the Netherlands►Dutch final!
