TOURNAMENT INFORMATION: 1. HARD COPY entries along with PAYMENT must be RECEIVED by Rory Scott, Lyons Holding, Lyons Road, Slinfold, West Sussex, RH13 0TD by no later than Saturday 23 rd February 2013. 2. The Draw will be held on Monday 25 th February 2013. 3. If it is necessary to restrict entries, restriction will be on the basis of last received, first out. Late entries will only be accepted if there is still space in the appropriate event after the closing date. 4. Payment must be made before the tournament. 5. We anticipate a maximum of 35 spaces in each of the boy’s events & a maximum of 15 spaces in the girl’s event, but this may change. 6. Exact format will be decided after the closing date, but it will be something like this: All players start off in mixed ability groups & are later sorted into separate bands A, B, C (& possibly D), based on finishing positions in the initial groups. Then players will be placed into further groups. There may also be knockout matches after the second round of groups, depending on no. of entries. All players should get between 7-10 matches each. 6. There will be a surcharge of £2 for those who enter late or come for a scratch entry on the day. 7. Food & drink may be purchased at the sports centre & there is ample free parking. There are showers & changing room facilities. 8. Open cans/drinks are NOT allowed in the hall. 9. Play will take place on up to 17 DHS, Donic & Butterfly tables. 10. Play will be with Butterfly 3 star white balls. 11. Tables will be individually courted. Min ceiling height: 7m; Min. Court Size: 9m X 5m. 12. Lighting is general & fluorescent lighting. Light intensity is 500 lux. 13. The venue has wooden sprung flooring. 14. There will be no admission charge. 15. The results from this tournament will qualify for computer ranking points. 16. The Entry Form will incorporate an Undertaking as follows:- 1. To observe the regulations of the tournament. 2. To abide by the decisions of the Referee. 3. To fulfil the schedule of play arranged for me unless prevented by circumstances beyond my control and accepted as such. 17. No refunds are possible after the closing date under any circumstances. 18. Trophies/Medals will be awarded to winners & runners-up of each BAND. 19. There may be photos/videoing for promotional purposes, which will be available on the London TT Academy website. TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS: 1. ETTA Tournament Regulations apply to this tournament. ITTF Regulations for International Competitions apply except those relating to the matters covered by items marked (x) on this entry form. 2. Every entrant must be Affiliated to ETTA Ltd as a Player Member or be a member of another National Association in membership of ITTF. 3. Every player must hold a valid ETTA Player Licence or have paid the appropriate Single Competition Licence Fee with their entry form unless he/she provides proof of being a member of another National Association affiliated to the ITTF and is not affiliated to the ETTA Ltd. 4. Completion and submission of this entry form signifies agreement by the entrant to the conditions of the competition, including variations from the ITTF requirements and to the storage of information about the competitor on a computer system. 5. All matches shall be the best of five games up to 11. All events will be in the same format starting off with groups of 4 where possible & then main draw knockout & time permitting, consolation knockout rounds in each category. The final order in a Group shall be decided as per ITTF Regulation 3.7.5. The format may be varied at the discretion of the Organiser in light of entries received. If players pull out before the day we will try to find replacements. Players looking for scratch entries need to inform the Organiser in advance to secure their place. Turning up on the day, while allowed is more risky. 6. Competitors may only enter ONE EVENT, as all events last all day. 7. Competitors must report to Control on arrival, and must not leave the hall without obtaining permission. Players absent when called upon to play are liable to be scratched. 8. The Organiser reserves the right to merge/cancel events if entries are low. 9. There will be no separate practice facilities, but competitors will be permitted to practice on match tables at the discretion of Control. 10. All competitors may be required to umpire at least one match in each event entered. 11. ETTA Appendix ‘C’ to Rules will apply. 12. Doping shall not take place either before or during play. 13. No gluing up will be allowed in the building. 14. No competitor or official shall engage in betting on players or matches. 15. Match results will be submitted for inclusion in the ETTA computer ranking scheme. 16. Competitors must have been born in 1998 or later for the under 15’s and in 1995 or later for under 18’s.
