Flags With Pride Across Klein
This is a community project going into its
14th year to be distributed throughout the
Klein community.
The Klein Oak Choir handles our neighbor-
hood along with about 2,000 other flags in
several neighborhoods. This has to be one of
the ”easiest” fundraiser.
Seven holidays, $40 and you don’t have to do
anything but check out your flags when they
show up. See attached form for more details.
There is the added option to go online and
set up your house.

Dear Neighbor: The Klein Oak Choir is beginning its 14th year with the Flags With Pride program. We were proud to display more than 2000 flags in 2017, and hope you’ll be a part of this patriotic community project in 2018. The neighborhoods serviced by the Klein Oak Choir are: Auburn Lakes, Enclave at The Preserve of Northampton, Klein Mead-ows, Londonderry, Northampton, Northcrest Village, The Preserve of Northampton, Princeton Place, Traditions, Vintage Creek, and Wimbledon Falls. It’s time to renew for 2018. This subscription cycle will include the following holidays*:
Memorial Day, May 28, 2018 Patriot Day, September 11, 2018 Flag Day, June 14, 2018 Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2018 Independence Day, July 4, 2018 President’s Day, February 18, 2019 Labor Day, September 3, 2018
*Note: Flags will not be displayed in cases of hazardous weather conditions.
The cost per flag is $40 for all SEVEN holidays. Sorry, but we are unable to prorate for a subscription that is paid after one or more holidays have passed. Reminder that dues are owed by Jan 15, and late fees will be assessed in March.

Violation letters are being sent out by the 5th of each month and provide 30 days for corrective action Clubhouse
Cheryl is getting bids on security lighting and cameras, will submit once gathered
Jennifer Joines would like to increase the rental fee to $150 so that $50 can go towards a cleaning fee that Stephanie can be given to clean up the clubhouse after rentals. Discussion as to how an increase might impact community opinion because the fee was just recently raised. Move to table decision until February’s meeting.
General Discussion & Additional Business
TC mentioned that we need to explore new bids for lawncare and landscape maintenance, he will work on bids and provide at next meeting for review and approval.
