"Best Year Ever" Small Group Series We have been going through a small group series titled the “Best Year Ever”. This series has hopefully helped students to see that the life God gives us is not just a series of random events. This series has followed the life of Joseph as the example of how God uses the seemingly bad times in our life to prepare us or take us to the place he ultimately wants us to be. Throughout Joseph’s life, he could have lost faith in God on several occasions but he remained faithful to God and God’s plan for his life even though he did not know exactly what that plan was. This series will also challenge students to see how their lives can impact those and the world around them.

Grady D-NOW The Grady D-NOW is quickly approaching. I have had several students sign up but there is still room for more and you still have time. In fact, your student can even sign up the night of March 4. The date for the weekend is March 4-6 and it begins Friday night at 5:45 at Midway Baptist Church. The theme this year is “Being a Godly Man and a Godly Woman”. The males and females will be split up at different times during the weekend so the speakers can speak directly to both male and female

students about God’s plan for them. The cost is $35 per student and students are also asked to bring two 2-Liters, breakfast items, and their favorite snack. Students will stay in host homes provided by our church on Friday and Saturday night and the weekend will closeout with a special service on Sunday Morning at FBC where I will be preaching about the awesome weekend our students got to experience. “Serve on Sunday” Nights I want to introduce a new opportunity to get our students involved in some hands on service. Beginning on April 3 and hopefully the first Sunday night of every month after, we will go to Magnolia Place during the evening service to hang out and do various activities with the residents. I really want to encourage all students to be involved in serving outside of our church. Please let me know if you have any questions.
