Monsanto & Council of 1890 Universities Student Leadership Event
What: A terrific opportunity to learn from an industry leader about the business of agriculture and explore a three month summer internship (May - August 2017) or six month co-op experience (January – June 2017) or (June – December 2017).
This is a three-day learning event including professional development, student social activities, business presentations and interviews for internship and co-op opportunities.
Where: Monsanto World Headquarters, St. Louis, Missouri
When: October 16-18, 2016
Who: Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors planning to attend graduate school
Internships & co-op positions will be focused in the following areas:• Engineering (co-ops only)• Field Sales• Finance• Information Technology (co-ops only)• Seed Production/Manufacturing• Technology/Research & Development

The Monsanto 1890s Student Leadership Event is a three day learning event at Monsanto’s world headquarters in
St. Louis, MO. The program includes professional development, networking, business presentations, and interviews
for 2016 Internship and Co-op roles.
Internship & Co-op roles are available in the following areas:
• Engineering (co-ops only)
• Field Sales
• Finance
• Information Technology (co-ops only)
• Seed Production/Manufacturing
• Technology/Research & Development
Student Profile:• Sophomore or higher at the time the Internship or Co-op
assignment begins
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• High interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact
well with a team, and the ability to work independently
• Self-motivated with strong detail and results orientation and
demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
• Possess qualities and skills that match Monsanto’s Global Competencies
(results orientation, agility, relationships/ networks, courage/ candor, and initiative/foresight)
