NPDES Facility Inspections:

ENFORCEMENT SECTION March 2019 Data

The Enforcement Unit NPDES inspector conducted inspections at 7 faci lities w ith NP DES permits. Inspection of the facilities is a required part of the NPDES Program.

Stormwater Facility Inspections:

The Stormwater Unit inspectors conducted inspections at 90 facilities with Construction and Industrial Stormwater Permits. Inspection of these facilities is a required part of the Stormwater Program.

EPLs Settled:

Seven (7) EPLs were settled collecting $213,000 in penalties in this reporting period. The Settlement Offers were issued fo r alleged effluent and/or late reporting violations of NPDES Permits. Please refer to Table 5 for a list of specific Settlement Offers and amounts.

Notices of Non-Compliance:

Ninety-eight (98) Notices of Non-Compliance were issued during this reporting period a discharger for fai ling to recertify under the new Industria l Genera l Permit or failing to submit annual reports. Please refer to Table 8 for a list of specific NNCs and their status.

Notices of Violation:

Fifteen (15) Notices of Violation were issued in this report ing period to dischargers for failing to submit annual reports and for BMP Violations. Please refer to Table 9 for a list of specific NOVs and their status.

Notices to Comply:

Four (4) Notices to Comply were issued in this reporting period to a discharger fo r fa iling to submit annua l reports and for BMP Violations. Please refer to Table 10 for a list of specific NOVs and their status.
