ONLINE CLASSESOnline courses use a Learning Management System (LMS) to utilize features such as course documents, discussion boards, assignments, quizzes, gradebook, lectures, and online conferences. Students do not typically attend a physical classroom whenparticipating in an online course. All course materials, instruction, discussion, and assessment are posted and completed online. Onlinecourses require of the student and instructor the same amount of course work and hours outside of the classroom as traditional courses;they are offered in a more flexible and independent environment. All online classes at LASC now use Canvas as the LMS. Log in to see your online classes at https://ilearn.laccd.edu. Please note that most instructors do not make their online classes accessible in Canvas until the first day of the term. For more online education resources visit http://www.lasc.edu/students/onlineservices/index.html.
