LOS ARTICULOS
• Articles agree in gender and number with the noun that they accompany.
• So - articles, like nouns are either masculine or feminine, and either singular or plural

DEFINITE ARTICLES
• Definite articles translate “the”.
• The feminine definite articles come before feminine nouns: la, las

INDEFINITE ARTICLES
• Indefinite articles translate “a / an” in the singular and “some / any” in the plural.
• The feminine indefinite articles come before feminine nouns: una, unas
• The masculine indefinite articles come before masculine nouns: un, unos
• When an unmodified noun follows ser or a form of ser, do NOT use an article in Spanish. Ella es profesora.
