On Friday, May 4, 2012, the Louisiana State Council Knights ofColumbus will host the Swamp Knights Crawfish Boil, to kick offour Annual State Convention. The Crawfish Boil will begin at6:30pm at the Rural Life Museum, 4560 Essen Lane, BatonRouge. This function is open to the general public, as well as KCConvention attendees. This is a SEPERATE ticket, conventionpriced event at $25, and children Under 12 eat FREE. There willbe soft drinks available and you are welcome to bring your ownadult beverages as there is NO liquor sold on LSU property. Withyour ticket includes Crawfish Boil, tour of the Rural Life Museum,and entertainment by show band, “Na Na Sha”. There will alsobe children entertainment and babysitting, so please bring theentire family!!! If you plan on attending, you will need to purchasetickets by April 20, 2012. The Louisiana Ladies Auxiliary Association is having their Spring Meeting on Saturday,May 5, 2012 in conjunction with the 107th Knights of Columbus Convention. The meetingwill be from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon in the Cypress 1 Room at the Crowne Plaza in BatonRouge.

All ladies attending the convention are welcome to join us at the LLAA meeting. Wewould love to see new faces at the meeting.

The Ladies Dutch Treat Luncheon will be held following the meeting in the Premier 1Room at the Crowne Plaza. Since the knights have no planned activity for Saturdaylunch, we would like to invite all ladies attending the convention to join us for our luncheon.The luncheon will not be a part of the Convention Packet; therefore, tickets will have tobe purchased through the LLAA. More information will follow when the final arrangementshave been made.
