Welcome to the 2015
Louisville Solar Tour!
Welcome to the 7th annual Louisville Solar Tour! We are so glad that
you are curious about solar energy and interested in being involved in reduc-
ing energy demand and carbon emissions for a better world. We host this
annual tour because transitioning from fossil fuels to clean energy alterna-
tives is extremely important. As the 30% federal Investment Tax Credit for
solar installations expiration deadline looms (December 31, 2016) interest has
never been higher! It is our hope that, as you take the tour, you will be in-
spired and assured that you, too, can go solar!
Whether you are a homeowner, business owner or public policymaker,
this day offers you an opportunity to see what your solar energy options are
up close, and to ask questions of other people in Louisville who have already
installed solar. The Kickoff/Introduction and Solar Celebration events are
new this year and for those ready to take the next step, it will provide the op-
portunity to learn about the basics of solar and meet installers and vendors.
Thank you from the 2015 Solar Tour Planning Team for your interest in
tapping the potential of solar energy and helping to make Louisville a solar
leader.

Building Type: Educational
Solar Type: Multiple strate-
gies, research, and develop-
ment
