Dear Parents / Carers What a delight to see our youngest chil-
dren perform their wonderful “Little An-
gel Gets Her Wings”. The Reception chil-
dren were amazing, what fantastic sing-
ing and acting throughout the perfor-
mance. Thank you to our Year 6 who
supported the children with their perfor-
mances and for such beautiful singing.
Thank you to Miss Maier, Mrs Booth and
Mrs Taylor for supporting with the per-
formance and costumes. Thank you to
Mrs Foreman and her pianists; William
and Elliott for playing Christmas songs so
well and finally a huge thank to the PTFA
for providing tea and coffee. Christmas
lunch A huge thank you to Lisa, Janet
and Toni for preparing and serving a
lovely Christmas lunch on Wednesday .
Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch and
thank you to the PTFA for the donations
of Christmas crackers. Thank you to our
year 6 pupils who were very able assis-
tants Food bank Thank you to all the
staff and children for their Reverse ad-
vent calendar donations of food . On
19/12/2019 we went to the Community
Storehouse in Paddock Wood. When we
went to the foodbank, they were very
grateful because this time of year they
have the most customers because of
Christmas. They told us that in a year
they collect 12 tons of food which is the
same as 4 elephants. Recently they have
changed the way they give out the food
instead of a bag for a week they give
them a shopping list and they are al-
lowed to chose from a set of boxes. We
will let you know how much we raised in
the new year. Rhys ,Syd &William Christ-
mas Cheer Concerts Thank you to Mrs
Sparkhall , Miss White, Mrs Knowles and
parents for enabling our ensemble to
visit Halliwell and Capel Grange Residen-
tial Homes to sing Christmas songs to the
elderly residents . We know that these
concerts bring so much joy and Christ-
mas cheer to the residents and it is a real
pleasure to be able to facilitate this for
the children and residents who get so
much from this opportunity. Well done
to everyone. Christmas Service Thank
you to everyone who attended our annu-
al Christmas Service which due to the
weather conditions we held in our school
hall . As always, the singing was excep-
tional and we were able to give thanks
for everything we take for granted in-
cluding family, a home, warmth, food,
school and having the opportunity to
open presents at Christmas. Thank you I
would like to take this opportunity to say
thank you to all the staff in school for
their hard work, dedication and commit-
ment to teaching and supporting your
children so well this year. All the children
have been amazing and have continued
to work hard and make progress. On
behalf of all the staff in school we would
like to wish you all a very peaceful, en-
joyable and restful holiday. Thank you to
all the children and parents for their
cards and gifts this year. Jane Mallon
