We exist to make disciples who Love God, Love People, and Reach the World.

The mission of making disciples who Love God, Love People, and Reach the World is now extending beyond the Covington Campus. The strategy to continue expanding ECC, the influence of the disciples, and spreading the gospel of hope in our community, will include multi-site campuses. We have entered a season of stewardship which includes contributions to the ACTIVATE Fund. It is the goal of ECC to:

establish fully-functioning, disciple-making, ECC multi-site campuses around East Metro Atlanta

eliminate current debt to free-up resources for ministry

fund capital projects at the Covington Campus

and support new churches in India Would you prayerfully consider partnering with ECC on this life-changing initiative? (Please use the ACTIVATE envelope provided at the Information Center or write “ACTIVATE” in the memo line of your check.) Thank you.

Total ACTIVATE giving-to-date: $287,216.00

Tithes and Offerings for July 20 (both campuses) Total Tithes: $22,091.13

Weekly Budget Needs: $24,519.23

an opportunity to become a Ministry Partner (member) with Eastridge

Many churches call their committed church-goers “Members.” But membership implies a certain set of rights and privileges. We believe that

the Body of Christ is made up of many parts, all of which are equally important. The church is not a country club, rather it is a group of

believers who are partnering together to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus...

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in

the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

Matthew 28:19-20

So, Eastridge prefers the phrase, “Ministry Partner” instead of Member. Ministry Partnership includes attending, serving, giving and participating

in biblical community. This journey begins at Starting Point. We offer a quarterly Starting Point class where you'll learn the vision and

values of Eastridge. This two hour class will introduce you to several ministry leaders and give you the chance to dialogue with each one. There

will be plenty of time for questions, a tour of the campus, and time for fellowship too. We will discuss what a disciple looks like and some

steps to growing in your faith. And at the end of the class you'll have an opportunity to become a Ministry Partner

with Eastridge Community Church.

Sunday, August 10 (begins at 9:00 a.m.)

Sign-up on the Connect Card, at the Connect Center or by emailing us at [email protected], once signed up you will receive additional details about the class.

July 27, 2014 You ASKED For it!

Are we living in the End Times?

‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see

visions, and your old men will dream dreams. 18In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants—men and women alike—and they

will prophesy.19And I will cause wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below—blood and fire and clouds of smoke. 20The

sun will become dark, and the moon will turn blood red before that great and glorious day of the lord arrives.21But everyone

who calls on the name of the lord will be saved.’ Acts 2:17 (NIV)

Answer: _________

So… where is He?

But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.

2 Peter 3:8 (NIV)

1. We cannot know __________.

The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. 8But you will receive

power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. Acts 1:7-8 (NIV)

However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen,

not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows. 33And since you don’t know when that time will come,

be on guard! Stay alert! Mark 13:32-34 (NIV)

2. We can and should know ____________.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when

we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV)

God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey

what it says, for the time is near. Revelation 1:3 (NIV)

Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the

time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself.

Revelation 19:7 (NIV)

3. We can ____________________.

Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12as you

look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. 2 Peter 3:11-12 (NIV)
