Loyalty Program Points Overview

1) The loyalty program we are running is points-based, where customers accrue points that have an associated currency value. Customers can redeem their points for a discount on any order placed on our site. Loyalty members can “cash in” their points at set intervals.

2) The cashed in points will be in the form of a promo code valued at the amount they are being rewarded. The points are not a payment tender. Instead we will issue a $ Off coupon code. See below:

3) Earn Pointsa. Enroll = 50 points (1x) [SA]b. Purchase = 1 point for every $1 (unlimited) [SA]c. Product Reviews = 10 points [PS](unlimited since only those that purchased can write a review)d. Email sign up = 20 points (1x) [PS]e. Twitter follow = 10 points (1x) [SA]f. Facebook like = 10 points (1x) [SA]g. Email referral that buys = 200 points (unlimited) [SA]h. Tweet a product = 2 points (2x/wk) [SA]i. FB shares referral = 2 points (2x/wk) [SA]j. Email share = 5 points (2x/wk) [SA]

4) Rewards Rewards/Award Amountsa. $5=100 ptsb. $10=200 ptsc. $15=300 ptsd. $20=400 ptse. $30=600 pts

5) Details: Rewards discounts (promo code) cannot be combined with other offers. Codes are unique (1x use). Discounts are not applicable to shipping charges or taxes, just net amount. Promo codes are valid for 30 days.

6) Accounting: Loyalty members will have one year from the time of enrollment to redeem their points.

7) Tech: Need to capture what coupon codes are issued to members. In case a customer loses their code, Customer Service and Mktg should be able to look it up and see the issue date and expiration date.
