   The  data  tells  me  that  kids  in  my  class  like  pennies  more  than  skateboards.

PENNIES  VERSUS  SKATE  BOARDS  –  WHICH  WILL  WIN?  

       This  week  we  have  Pennies  and  Skateboards.  Check  on  page  4  skateboard  champions  and  more  importantly  have  some  fun.  Pennies:  are  the  worlds  best  boards.  One  thing  you  need  to  know  is  that  they  have  a  very  flexi  board.  People  say  they  can  go  under  cars  but  they  may  be  wrong.  Skateboards  that’s  what  we  all  need.  Skateboards,  Pennies  how  much  more?  Where  do  they  come  from?                    

Our  interview  with  Tony  Hawks    Is  there  someone  who  is  a  better  skateboarder  than  you?    Rodney  Mullen  is  the  best  skateboarder.    What  is  an  awesome  skateboard?    The  board  is  half  face  skull  board  and  it  is  purple  and  black.    Are  Pennies  better  then  Skateboards?    No  -­‐    I  think  skateboards  are  better  because  you  are  able  to  do  tricks  on  them.    How  did  you  lose  a  tooth?    I  was  doing  a  double  man  act  when  me  and  Kevin  Staab  slammed  into  each  other.    How  old  are  you?    I  am  44  years  old.    How  big  are  your  jumps?    It  depends  on  how  big  the  jump  is  but  he  can  cover  most  heights.    How  do  you  win?    Best  most  exciting  tricks  normally  win.          

 

   

                       

 

TONY  HAWKS  TEETH  FELL  OUT.      It  all  started  when  Tony  Hawk  came  a  pro  skater  from  Sydney.  He  is  44,  white  skinned  and  skinny.  He  was  known  as  one  of  the  best  skaters  ever!  But  I  need  to  tell  you  that  that  once  he  had  the  worst  accident  ever.  His  teeth  came  out  when  one  day  when  he  was  doing  a  double  man  contest  with  Kevin  Staab,  they  both  were  on  the  ramp  when  KABOOF!  Bang  and  they  smashed.  The  two  skaters  from  the  same  team  collided  with  each  other.  They  were  so  badly  hurt  that  they  thought  they  were  never  going  to  skate  again.  He  was  so  scared  that  he  went  to  see  psychiatrist.  The  doctor  told  him  to  never  stop  and  keep  on  going  then  he  went  back  home  to  sit  down  then  DING  DONG,  the  door  bell  rang.  It  was  Tony’s  family  and  crew.  Well  your  all  here  he  said!  It’s  time  you  got  back  on  the  board,  his  parents  said.  His  crew  also  said  the  same  thing  and  Tony  went  back  on  the  board.  Tony  went  on  to  win  skateboarding  competitions  all  over  the  world  and  have  lots  of  video  games  made  about  him  for  gaming  consoles.                

       

 

How  to  stand  on  a  skateboard  –      Step  1.  Put  your  right  or  left  foot  at  the  top  of  the  board    

   

Step  2.  Then  put  your  other  foot  on  the  

other  side.            

 Step  3.  To  turn  you  need  to  lean  left  or  right.                                                                                                          PEACE!!!!!!!!!!
