IV. Why Does God tell Men to Repent ?

All have sinned

Sin will send us to hell

Jesus died for our sins

A day of Judgment is coming

Necessary to be saved

Preceded by Faith

Followed by Confession

Followed by Baptism

An act of the mind by which the sinner decides to forsake his sins and turn to God to serve Him for the rest of his life.

A way of life - changed attitude toward sin

Led to repent by preaching

His will that we all repent
