Services.

Face the challenges in the society by adopting the non-conventional energy resources and utilizing the

DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES

The Department conducted the Third Mini Project Competition on 07.03.2016 and around 11 batches of our EEE students dis-

played their projects. The First Place was won by Maria Alwin Raja M, Vignesh M, Premnath S, Magesh Babu V and

Karthikeyan D of III Year for their project “Vacuum Cleaner Robot”. The Second Place was won by Yamini R, MaruHemalatha,

Sangamithirai S and Anitha Devi N V of III Year for their project “Wireless Power Transmission”. The Third Place was shared

Silambarasan J Vinod B and Pradeep Kumar D of III Year “Project on 100W Inverter” and Ramgopal K, Ramamoorthi M,

Devaajithkumar M, Ajith A and Lakshmikanth R of III Year for their Project “Thermo Electrical Generator”.

The Department conducted the Sixth National Conference on “Emerging Trends and Developments in Power System, Power

Electronics and Drives”, NCETDPSPED- 17 on 27.02.2017. It was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. Jayaraman K., Scientist,

DRDO, Director DRDL (Retd.), Hyderabad. The NCETDPSPED-16 Conference Proceedings were published with ISBN No:

978-93-5258-623-3.
