Lynx MLK Classics Guests,
On behalf of Lausanne Collegiate School, I welcome you to the 2015 Lynx MLK Classic. We are proud to be your host for this event which brings together highly-competitive girls’ and boys’ teams from the Memphis area and beyond. We take great pride in providing a warm welcome for all of our visitors, and we hope that you enjoy your time at Lausanne.
While we are enthused about the exciting basketball that will be played in our gym this weekend, we are also honored to be able to host such an event honoring the legacy of a great leader. In an effort to provide historical perspective and to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we are pleased to have Kevin Nathaniel, A.K.A. “Rev Kev” as our keynote speaker for the Lynx MLK Classic breakfast. It is our hope that the student-athletes will be inspired by Kevin’s message which presents an historical perspective that is unique to the city of Memphis, while also challenging young people to strive for excellence.
Finally, we would like to thank our event sponsor, Ultimate Attire, for their continued support of Lausanne Athletics.
Go Lynx!
