Welcome to IrIsh equINe coNFereNce 2011
We are delighted to return again to Kilkenny and to Lyrath Estate and we are honoured to welcome Dr. Regina Turner, Associate Professor of reproduction at the renowned New Bolton Center, Pennsylvania State University and Peter Clegg, Professor of Orthopaedics at the Leahurst Equine Hopsital, University of Liverpool to participate in our programme. Our international speakers will be joined by local experts Jennifer Stephen, Alan Creighton and Melanie O’Donoghue, as well as representatives from the Irish Equine Centre and De-partment of Agriculture to add Irish input. This year the Michael Osborne Lecturer is Dick O’Sullivan, esteemed Chairman of Punchestown Racecourse and we look forward to his presentation. Our annual Case Presentations always generate much interest and the Best Case Presentation prize will be awarded on Saturday evening before the close of the con-ference. If you haven’t already booked to attend the Conference Dinner on Friday evening get your ticket as this is a fantastic evening and often our only chance to meet up with friends and colleagues. Please take time to complete an evaluation form to be in with a chance to win free registration to next years conference! Not only does your opinion mat-ter to us it is vital for the planning of future Equine Conferences. Thank you for attending our annual conference and we look forward to a great weekend.
