Thank you for meeting with us during conference last week. We enjoyed spending time talking about your child’s progress and are

excited to continue to work together throughout the year. If you ever have any questions about your child’s classroom performance, please do

not hesitate to contact his or her teacher.

● Parent Survey-Portage Public Schools is on a continuous journey to make our schools the best places for students to learn, staff to work, and parents to send their children for a high quality education. In this effort we need your help and support. We need to know the areas where we are performing to your expectations and perhaps the areas where more focus is needed. You recently received an invitation from our Superintendent, Mark Bielang, requesting your participation in the Parent Satisfaction Survey. Please take a few moments to complete the survey if you haven't already done so. Mr. Bielang's message contained a link to the survey. The data will be sent to each school as well as the Superintendent. Then the results of the survey will be shared with parents and the community through the Superintendent's office and by me with the staff and parent organizations at our school. News from the Woodland PTO: WOODLAND WILDCATS RESTAURANT NIGHT- Join us for Dinner at Main St Pub (Portage location only) onTuesday November 20th 4pm-9pm. 10% of all food sales will be donated to Woodland Wildcats PTO.

Movie night-Woodland movie night presentsUglyDolls on Friday November 22nd Doors Open at 6:30PM Movie will start at 7:00PM It is 1hr 28 min in length and rated PG. Intermission will take place at 7:45PM and the movie will end around 9:00 PM. Admission is FREE so bring your family, pillows, blankets and enjoy the fun. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout movie night (please make sure your students follow the Wildcat Way during the event). Our cash only Woodland Wildcats PTO Concession will be available at 6:30PM until the movie starts, after the intermission activity, & after the movie. Movie Night Intermission Activity -During intermission, CIRCLES of Conversation around Community, Inclusion & Diversity will be happening for parents in the corners of the gym, children will be completing an activity in the middle of the gym with Mrs Mion. Conversations include: Question 1 What does Inclusion, Multicultural, Diversity and Community mean to you? Question 2 What holidays and special events

are celebrated by your family? Painting Fundraiser- Join us for our 4th Annual Painting Fundraiser on Friday, December 13th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Woodland gym for an Adults Only Night Out . There are 6 Doormats options to choose from and All order must be made by Friday December 6th, 2019! This event is an opportunity for parents, staff, friends, etc., to participate in a fun-filled evening while supporting Woodland’s PTO. We earn $10.00 off each Doormat purchased (already added in the price).Our goal is to raise $1,000. So please share the invite.
