Название дисциплины: Электромагнетизм.
1. Цели и задачи освоения дисциплины:
Цели: изучение основных физических явлений электричества и магнетизма, овла-
дение фундаментальными понятиями, законами, теориями курса, а также методами
физических исследований.
Задачи: сформировать у студентов представление о физической картине окружаю-
щего мира, создать базу для изучения последующих курсов общей физики, а также
теоретической физики.
2. Место дисциплины в структуре ООП ВПО
Дисциплина «Электромагнетизм» является обязательной, содержится в федераль-
ном компоненте цикла ЕН учебного плана, является базовой для дисциплин
«Атомная физика», «Физика атомного ядра и частиц», «Общий физический прак-
тикум» (3 семестр).
3. Требования к результатам освоения содержания дисциплины:
В результате освоения дисциплины обучающийся должен:
Знать: основные законы и закономерности, определяющие направление и
результат протекания процессов, способы аналитического представления этих
закономерностей.
Уметь: формулировать конкретные задачи на основе законов и закономерностей,
освоенных в курсе электричества и магнетизма; получать данные, проводить их
математическую обработку, обобщать полученные результаты.
Владеть: расчетными методами решения задач, навыками поиска данных в
открытых источниках (в том числе, в информационных базах данных) и применять
их при решении практических задач.
Приобрести опыт деятельности: в анализе, формулировке и решении конкретных
задач, интересующих фундаментальную науку и практику.

1. Purposes of discipline mastering:
Purposes: to study the basic physical phenomena of electricity and magnetism, to master the fun-
damental concepts, laws, and theories of the course, as well as methods of physical research.
Tasks: to form students' understanding of world physical model, to create a base for exploring in
the subsequent courses of general physics and theoretical physics.

The discipline concerns block V-PD in a preparation direction «Applied mathematics and phys-
ics». Structural element of OOP ВПО - БМ (the bachelor of Moscow State University) in a
preparation direction «Applied mathematics and physics». The discipline concerns to basic parts
