M2M and its impact on theSecurity Industry 8.30am – 5.00pm

Overview of workshop

The security industry is being transformed by many factors– societal and economic changes mean that more and moresecurity is required for traditional markets of property, cars, and other assets but increasingly for non-traditional areassuch as energy, food and general industry supply chain.Additionally the prevalence of new monitoring technologymeans that it is easier than ever for customers to deploytheir own CCTV and other monitoring technologies creatinga myriad of data. Finally combined with cloud-basedsolutions this now means that small and large securityproviders have access to the same technologyinfrastructure. With this much change it is inevitable thatthere will be new winners and losers and attending thisworkshop will ensure that you are a winner.

Why you should attend:This workshop aims to explore what the future environmentlooks like, you will learn how to identify and exploit newopportunities in the market.

The participants will learn about new technologies enteringthe market, understand how to design and deploy an M2Msolution and how to assess the impact to the peopleworking in their own business and that of their customers. They will see first hand some of the latest technologies andlearn from expert opinion how to avoid some of the commonmistakes companies make using M2M
