Mach 1 Ultradwarf Bermudagrass™
As the newest ultradwarf bermudagrass on the market, Mach 1 accelerates performance and speed for putting greens. Grown and
tested for nearly 20 years, Mach 1 was developed by a golf course superintendent to deliver incredibly fast greens with fine texture,
exceptional density, extreme tightness, and overall smoothness. Genetic stability is also a benefit of Mach 1. Throughout its testing, Mach 1 has
been characterized as one of the cleanest and purest turfgrasses.
While Mach 1 putting greens have the capacity to be among the fastest, speed is not its only advantage. This high performing ultradwarf offers
excellent wear tolerance and is heat and drought tolerant. Mach 1 responds consistently well to growth regulators, allowing higher heights of cut while
still achieving fast green speeds. This premium ultradwarf produces the ultimate putting surface and is also an excellent turf for grass tennis courts, croquet, and
lawn bowling.
Mowing heights for Mach 1 range between 0.080” to 0.200” (2 – 5 mm).
