WHY TAKE ENGLISH LANGUAGE EXAMS?
The reasons behind taking an exam will obviously affect the enthusiasm and performance of students preparing for an exam. Here are the main reasons students prepare for English language exams.
Personal DevelopmentWith so much work going into learning English it is a great record of personal achievement.
Professional Development Solid proof of English proficiency is often required for many jobs and may give students an advantage over others in the employment market and give them access to higher paid jobs.
International Recognition Many exams are recognised worldwide. Wherever in the world, success in an exam can immediately be understood elsewhere.
MotivationLearning and proficiency can often be encouraged by having something to work for. Without the end goal of an exam the breadth and variety of skills and language may not be otherwise be achieved.
Obligation In many schools and universities it is compulsory to take an English Language Exam.
