We are servicing Weatherproof Vintage Product in 75 Macy’s stores

Men’s Weatherproof Vintage Product. This visit is only in 75 Macy’s stores. Locate the Vintage Styles and make sure they are set up within the Men’s Vintage Weatherproof Department.

Time Budget: This visit is 2 hours PLEASE NOTE: This will be a weekly visit up until July 2017. No extensions will be given. These projects will have a 1 week window. Do what you can in the 2hour time budget. Do not go over 2 hours.

Vendor Pass Required

1. All vendors to Macy’s are now required to have an electronic barcoded pass. Please see posted “Vendor Pass

Information” for instructions on how to get the pass. The parent vendor number is 23136729 (National Outerwear LLC) and the password is storevisit It takes 24 hours to be approved, so be sure to do this

before making your visit. The barcoded vendor pass is then printed and it can be re-used for future visits. Each time you call on the store you will be required sign in and out at any POS terminal. If you’ve already printed out a Vendor Pass for another vendor, you can use that one to make this and other visits.

Product to service and main goals as recommended by the vendor:

2. Locate, straighten and bring out back stock of the men’s Weatherproof Vintage Product

Locate management and ask them for a folding board. Have them show you where it is kept since you will need this on a weekly basis.

This week there is no general planogram to follow. Try to get the best space possible that allows all stock to be placed out on the floor, so no product has to be placed in backstock. Size on a fixture peg from smallest to largest size (smallest size in front, larger size behind it).

All the men’s long sleeve woven shirts should have “cuffed” sleeves so the customer can see the detail on the product.

The top button should be unbuttoned on the long sleeve wovens.

Not all stores will have the same number of tables and hanging racks. Each store has a different amount of space.

All product will be located together within the men’s Vintage Weatherprooof Department.

3. Locate the Rain Slickers

Locate the Rain Slickers in the back room. It is a PRIORITY to locate & unpack the Rain Slickers.

Some of the Rain Slickers were still damp when packaged therefore the jackets may have a slight odor.

If the Rain Slickers have a strong odor work with management to hang the Rain Slickers in the backroom. Instruct management to let them air out for 1-2 days before placing them on the selling floor.

If the Rain Slickers are already on the selling floor go inspect to see if there is a strong odor on any of them. If there is a strong odor work with management to pull them from the selling floor for a few days and have them air out in the back room.

5. Signage

Please look for specific Vintage Weatherproof signage within the department. Every store should have a LARGE “Original Weatherproof Vintage Since 1948” sign as shown below. (this is on your questionnaire)

6. TAKE PHOTOS

Take a picture of each display of the Vintage Weatherproof product.

A MINIMUM of 3 BEFORE & AFTER photos should be submitted of the Vintage Weatherproof product.

This is a weekly visit-therefore please provide the vendor with multiple photos of your work

7. ENTER A STORE ALERT

Please enter a store alert with detail if you run into any problems i. Did management not want the product displayed on the selling floor? ii. Did the weatherproof product have poor exposure? iii. Did management or customers have any comments or input about the product?

Please give details as to who you talked with and what the problems were and if there were any solutions.

8. PLEASE NOTE: This is a weekly visit and NO EXTENSIONS will be given. Completion is incredibly
