Legend One time Duke Gediminas went

hunting camped Šventaragio Valley. When he fell asleep had a dream that on the mountain staying large iron wolf and howls. Awakened Duke asked wizard Lizdeika what the dream meant. Lizdeika predicted that where the howling wolf will grow beautiful and great city, and news about him spread all over the world.

How Gediminas castle looks now

In 1948-1949 renovated western Upper Castle Tower, now known as Gediminas.

In three floors of the tower of the castle are museum, and at the top - an observation deck, which offers a wide panorama of the city.

I choose this place, because I like when you go up to observation, you can look to city panorama and it’s pretty great.

Also I recommend it for tourists who arrive to Lithuania and don’t know where to spend them free time. So it would be realy great place to visit.
