1. The Idaho FFA Association holds State Charter No. 17 in the National Organization issued on September 4, 1929.

2. A state charter was issued to the Idaho FFA Alumni Association by the National FFA Alumni on October 13, 1972.

3. Malad was the first chartered chapter in the Idaho FFA Association.

4. The first State President of the Idaho FFA Association was Rodney Hansen from Firth in 1929-1930.

5. Idaho’s first State FFA Advisor was William Kerr.

6. Idaho’s first American FFA Degree recipient was Carrol Baker from Twin falls in 1928.

7. Three students from Twin Falls attended the first National FFA Convention in 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri in the Baltimore Hotel.

Idaho FFA Dates and Deadlines33. Dates of the 2014 State FFA Leadership Conference are April 9-12 to be held at the College

of Southern Idaho, Twin Falls, Idaho.

34. Dues and Rosters are due to the State FFA Office December 1st of each year.

35. Each chapter’s Annual FFA Report is due to the State FFA Office June 1st of each year.

36. Applications for State Proficiency are due postmarked to the State Office by March 1.

37. Applications for State Officer Candidates are due postmarked to the State Office by March 1.

38. American FFA Degree applications are due postmarked to the State Office by June 1.
