Cardiff Airport is really going places,

we’ve had a transformational few

years and are confident the future

will continue to see us realise our

ambitions. Our team has been

pivotal in our development and

keeping the team at the heart of all

we do is central to our company

purpose.

As the national Airport, we are proud

to connect Wales to the world and

to be a key gateway to the UK. We

have grown our passenger numbers,

improved the customer experience,

launched our Masterplan, and

launched our environmental flight

path to being carbon neutral whilst

keeping safety and security our

focus.

During 2019 we took over the

running of the St Athan Airfield

plus the passenger operations at

Anglesey Airport, making the most

of our team, skills and experience

as aviation experts within Wales. I

am also extremely pleased that we

were been able to bring forward our

commitment to pay the real living

wage from 1st April 2019, a year

earlier than planned.

This is a great time to be at Cardiff

Airport and we want to grow the

team to have more people with the

right skills, ambition and values. If

you think that could be you, then the

opportunity is here for the taking and

we look forward to meeting you.

Cardiff Airport is a vital asset to the Welsh economy, providing global connectivity for businesses and

acting as the gateway to Wales and the south west of England and an alternative gateway to the UK.

There is a clearly established link between the success of the Airport and direct and indirect job creation and stimulation of inbound tourism and business activity.

• The business has a total economic footprint of £1.1bn

• It is responsible for sustaining ~5,300 jobs directly and indirectly with a catalytic footprint of ~19,700 jobs

• In terms of GVA, the airport’s direct and indirect activity supports ~£246m in the South Wales area, with an additional £900m from catalytic jobs

As part of our vision “to be a pioneering airport business, making Wales proud”, we are committed to making a sustainable, positive impact on;

• the environment

• our community

• our people

• whilst delivering real economic value to Wales.

Our corporate social responsibility plan is underpinned by our commitment to the ‘Well-being of Future Generations Act’. This commitment is fully integrated throughout our business and reinforces the contribution we make to Wales in a responsible and sustainable way. Being ‘responsible’ is an important driver to maximise the benefit of the Airport to the people of Wales, while mitigating the Airport’s environmental impact. It allows us to build long term partnerships, which benefit the environment, our communities, our people, our business and ultimately Wales.
