Foreword from the Hospital Acting Chief Executive Officer
Mr GBC Khawula - Acting Chief Executive Officer
F irstly, I would like to appreci-
ate the warm welcome that I received from all levels of staff when I started here in Mahatma Gandhi Me-morial Hospital as Acting CEO in June
2014.
I had mixed feelings when I was asked to assist in this institution. I asked my-self of whether I was the right person to assist in creating harmony and sta-bility in the institution as the situation was volatile.
By working together with organized labour and staff to address their chal-lenges faced by the institution has started bearing good results as some of critical issues has been resolved and still in process of addressing all other challenges that they are still out-standing.
I am still requesting that we continue working together as a team at ensur-ing service delivery is not compro-mised so that the vision of our govern-ment is achieved of “Long and healthy life for all”.
Our clients are our priority.
