Last year, nearly 20 TV movies were produced in Catalonia, a figure that clearly indicates the importance of small screen production as one of the most active sectors in the Catalan audiovisual industry. This vitality largely owes itself to the confluence of two factors: on one hand, the unwavering role of Televisió de Catalunya as a driving force for production; and on the other hand, a framework of support provided by the Catalan Institute for Cultural Industries (ICIC).This joint venture has given rise to major television productions including the miniseries Serrallonga, which was warmly received at its presentation at the last MIPCOM. In a word, one of the prime objectives of the Catalan audiovisual industry is to reinforce specific production for television with high quality titles and a clear international scope. barcelona, 1920. enric is a young worker who joins an anarchist action group following his brother’s murder at the hands of his employers. Silvia is a municipal policewoman who lives in a town just outside of Valencia. She lives with her husband, her little girl and her brother camilo, who is mentally disabled.one ill-fated day a little girl disappears from a gypsy settlement that had moved in on the outskirts of the town. Teo and Sara are a young couple whose happiness is shatted when Sara is raped in front of Teo. Sara’s parents blame him for not protecting her and they take her away. The boy’s life breaks down.

but he starts therapy and tries to recover. His redemption will come through the relationship he establishes with elia, a girl who was also raped. When destiny makes Teo meet his assailants again and Sara reappears in his life, Teo has to choose between past and future, between wanting to pay his debt for not saving Sara or recognize that he is also a victim of violence.
