CVE refers to actions intended to reduce the ability of violentextremists to radicalize, recruit, and mobilize followers to violence and to change the conditionsthat are conducive to the spread of violent extremist recruitment and radicalization ofindividuals or communities. The YouthBuild model balances project-based academiclearning and occupational skills training to prepare disadvantaged youth for career placement.
