Planning Engineer

Major duties:

Assists with development and presentation of technical training modules to the maintenance

workforce;

Investigates repetitive equipment problems and recommends solutions;

Assists in maintenance planning system development;

Reviews/optimizes equipment spare parts requirements;

Provides Mechanical Maintenance support to Superintendent/Charge Supervisors;

Prepares technical documentation;

Updates and reviews all related ISO documents; and

Prepares manpower schedule.

Requirements:

Degree or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering;

Minimum 3 years post-graduate industrial experience including some exposure to maintenance

planning;

Proficiency in MS office;

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; and

Holder of Driving Licence No. 2 is preferable.

Major duties:

To operate the central / local control computer to monitor the operational status of all production

facilities;

To make proper adjustment of production process;

To improve product quality and increase operation efficiency;

To assist shift-in-charge to coordinate manufacturing and maintenance activities;

To assist shift-in-charge to initiate appropriate emergency procedures to cope with different types

of system failure; and

To carry out assigned duties during major equipment overhaul period.

Requirements:

Higher Diploma in Chemical / Electrical / Industrial / Mechanical Engineering;

Minimum 2 years working experience in manufacturing industries;

Self-confident, out-going and energetic;

Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

Overnight shift duty is required; and

Candidate with less qualification / fresh graduate will be considered as Assistant Process Control

Engineer.

Assist the preparation of monthly production and equipment downtime report; and

Perform other tasks as assigned and requested by Production Manager.

Requirements:

Secondary education or above;

Minimum 1 year working experience;

With experience in industrial clerical work will be an advantage;

Proficiency in computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, etc);

Strong communication skill; and
