MAINTENANCE REPAIRS
Following is a brief explanation on the way the maintenance service shall be handled depending upon your contract ALD Assured :
While booking the car in, please fill out the Maintenance Request Form , indicating the nature of the work and fax or email it to respective ALD
office at least two (2) days prior to the date of repair. You are required to provide the Vehicle Owners Manual and Service booklet when the vehicle is
sent to the workshop.
All expenses towards maintenance repairs, except certain exclusions as mentioned below shall be borne by ALD.
Cashless facility is at following locations only:
NCR, Kolkatta, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, PuneFor other locations, Cashless facility is not available and hence you are required to settle the bill directly with the repairer. Make sure that the bill is
drawn in the name of “ALD Automotive Pvt Ltd” and send it through your coordinator for subsequent reimbursement by ALD.
User to Pay Facility: You have to pay directly to the repairer/dealer and settle the bill. Copy of the bill then needs to be sent to ALD for records.
Expenses while traveling outside the contract area (refer the ALD Service Guide for more details)
Contracted area is the general area in which the vehicle was originally put to use. If the nature of repair is major or if the expected invoice amounts are high,
you should contact ALD or its emergency assistance to obtain advice for repair. In the case of mechanical repair, the invoice should be an original, made out in
the name of ALD Automotive Private Ltd and bear the repairers VAT number if applicable. Only those costs necessarily incurred for putting the vehicle back on road or that which makes the vehicle safe for use shall be reimbursed.
Note:
Check the vehicle thoroughly both at the time of handing over the vehicle and at the time of its return. Ensure that the odometer reading and
fuel level is recorded properly. Any shortcomings must be brought to the notice of ALD by the next working day. Take out personal
belongings, stereo panel, etc before handing over the vehicle
Requirements for Top up of Oil and consumables need to be reported to ALD immediately
Jobs which do not cover under ALD Assured/Budgeted on actual:1. Fuel and additives
2. Extra washing & cleaning, Seat Dry cleaning/Upholstery cleaning
3. Polishing, Anti-rust treatment, Teflon coating,
4. Flat tires and parking, Tolls,
5. Repairs arising out of fitment of additional accessories,
6. Repairs resulting from abnormal use of the vehicle or from f ailure to follow the manufacturer’s handbook and service book,7. Faulty use (lack of oil, driving with a warning light on etc)

Repairs of accessories fitted on the vehicle will be billed separately and is not covered in the contract.
Relief Car Service (if contracted)
In the event of breakdown or maintenance requirement for which the repairs takes more than one day, we shall provide a relief vehicle of an equivalentcategory the following day for use within the city limits. This however, shall not apply to accident, damage repairs, theft or total loss cases unless specifically
contracted for
