    Transformer

    Replacement of burnt out lead wires.

    Load balancing on all three phases.

    Peak load recording on transformers atleast once in a week.

    Load condition Balancing of loads.

    a. load bifurcation.

    b. Provision for additional transformer.

    Check oil level - Topping up of oil if necessary.

    Check oil level - Bi-annual testing of samples of oil

    both top and bottom oil samples to be taken.

    replacement of container (breather) if

    necessary.Tightening of Bushings terminals/ Cleaning.

    Providing protection on both HT and LT side.

    ,each separated by a minimum distance of 6

    metres.

    Renovation of neutral ground

    connections.

    Confirmation of ground connections

    Maintenance of G.O.S

    Application of paraffin wax( petroleumjelly) and lubricant oil whenever

    necessary.

    Alignment of G.O.S unit.

    Replacement of entire unit if even onelimb gets worn out / burnt out.

    Trimming of tree branches

    Tightening of loose spans.

    Providing of intermediate poles ifnecessary.

    Straightening of slanted poles / providingguys if necessary

    Tightening of guy wires/replacement ifnecessary.

    insulators.

    Bifurcation of loads if overloaded.

    Tightening of jumper connections.

    Use of wedge connectorspreferred. Preferred over use of

    P.G clamps.

    grounded

    Street light phase wire to be easily

    identifiable from the ground level

    In marshy areas, concrete filling to be

    provided for the poles wherever

    necessary.

    Avoid overload.

    Observe for crack, damage, etc incable termination/Pothead.seal them

    using M-seal compounds wherever

    necessary.

    Replacement of burnt out/ wornout spares immediately.

    Cleaning of contacts, spoutinsulators.

    Checking of tripping mechanism.

    Service mains

    All meter terminal covers should be sealed.

    Grounding at the meter board and at sealablecutouts should be properly done by theconsumer as per norms and this has to be

    verified periodically.Inspection of meters- MNR,sticky meters,directconnections to be immediately reported andaction taken .

    Any defects noticed in the consumers premisesafter the point of commencement of supply,to bebrought to the notice of the consumer.
