The Norwich & District Optimist Club is already planning for our two biggest events for 2012 and would like to invite your company to participate in the all of the fun! Our two day Tractor Pull will be held on August 17th and 18th and our Corn Maze will be open every weekend in September and October. Both of these events draw thousands of spectators and participants from all over south western Ontario.

The money raised from these 2 events goes right back into our local community to support child and youth focused projects and events. Our latest project is a fabulous splash pad to be built in 2012 in the village of Norwich at Harold Bishop Park. We sponsor many free or low cost activities for families throughout the year such as an Easter Egg Hunt/Party and free skating and a Christmas party at the local arena. Other projects we have sponsored in the past include the Harold Bishop Park pavilion, Norwich Community Centre renovations, playground equipment at local parks, Medical Centre donation, Public Library donation, public school books, minor sports sponsorships, Camp Trillium, hearing aids & eyeglasses for local children, drug awareness programs, scholarships and much more.

Our Norwich & District Optimist Club membership is comprised of over 50 volunteers who are enthusiastic about sharing their talents to raise the necessary funds and to share their time to help empower all of our local young people to be the best that they can be. We are one of over 2,900 clubs in Optimist International worldwide, all dedicated to “bringing out the best in Kids”. Each Optimist Club determines the needs of the young people in its community and conducts programs to meet those needs. Every year, Optimists conduct 65,000 service projects and serve well over six million young people worldwide.

To successfully accomplish all we plan to do, we need to work with sponsors like you so we can cover 100% of our operating expenses at these 2 big events so that all money raised will go back to our club and then into our community for the children. To that end, we have attached a package outlining the various levels of sponsorship of these events and we do hope that you will consider teaming up with us on this venture.

We would like to have our sponsors confirmed by June 30th, 2012 to allow for maximum advertising for everyone. We have enclosed the details of each level of sponsorship as well as a fax in application form in this package.
