MAKE A PEANUTS MINI COMIC! Books can be all shapes and sizes, even pocket-size! Learn how to make a Peanuts mini comic book in this cut-and-fold activity. Then, step into Charles Schulz’s shoes to make your own comic story using the blank template provided. 1. Print out the Peanuts mini comic and blank template on the next three pages. We recommend printing on Tabloid paper (11 x 17 inches) if available, but standard Letter paper (8.5 x 11 inches) will work too. 2. To make your Peanuts comic book, select one of the Peanuts pages and fold it in half widthwise along the dotted lines (making a hamburger fold). 3. Fold it in half again along the dotted lines to 1/4 of its size. 4. Fold it in half one more time along the dotted line. Then unfold the whole thing. 5. Fold it in half again like you did in step 2. Use scissors to cut along the solid line where indicated. 6. Unfold and fold in half lengthwise. Open up the comic book and push open the center, as shown in image 6. 7. Push the whole comic together, folding the center in on itself. Fold the pages until the front cover, with the Peanuts title, is on top. Now read your Peanuts comic book! 8. Now fold and cut the other two pages the same way. Create and draw your own comic story on the blank template. 2301 Hardies Lane Santa Rosa, CA 95403 (707) 579-4452 schulzmuseum.org ©PNTS 2. 3. 4a. 4b. 7. 6. 5.
