INSTRUCTIONS

1. Plan out the Ingredients of your Ice Cream Sundae. When you begin to create your drawings on each page, number the page when you have completed it, so that you can simply put your flipbook together at the end.

2. If you are drawing on a book of post-it notes, make sure that the sticky side is on the left side of your drawing.

3. First sheet of paper, draw a bowl. Is this a Sundae or a Banana Split? Do you like bananas at the bottom? If so, draw your bowl with bananas.

4. Then draw your bowl again with one scoop of ice cream.

5. Next, add another scoop

6. And another! And another! Keep going!

7. On your next sheet, add a topping. Sprinkles? Chocolate chips? Maybe M&Ms?Create a drawing as you add each ingredient.

8. Are you missing fruit? Add some strawberries to the mix!

9. Do you like syrup or hot fudge? Draw your sundae and add the hot fudge.How about some whipped cream? Draw your sundae with whipped cream on top (this could be fun).

10. Finally, add a cherry on top

11. Now that you have all of your drawings numbered, place them in order, one on top of the other, starting with the empty bowl.

12. Tape the side of your book to create a binding. Flip your book and watch your sundae grow!
