Case Study – APIS XML Conversion for India
The Challenge:- India imposes non standard requirement for “legacy APIS” effective April 1, 2008• Airlines must build own solution or face fines or worse
The Solution - SITA XML conversion service allows airlines to use existing IT systems (reduced costs of compliance) - Can be extended to future non-standard requirements
Case Study – APIS XML Conversion for India
SITA rolled out its India APIS Service within 3 months - Over 60 passenger airlines
To date, over 70% of airlines flying to India have signed for SITA XML APIS Service- Over 66K flights per annum to India - Over 16M passengers per annum- Estimated savings to ATI of $25M
The SITA Community service approach can serve airlines facing a growing number of non standard requirements- APP/AQQ/ATC- PNR, PNR push, Secure Flight- APIS, APIS+, XML APIS
