DublinDesignated UNESCO City of Literature in 2010, Dublin’s written tradition stretches back to 800 A.D. with the Book of Kells but in more recent times it has given the world the writings of Joyce, Yeats, Beckett, George Bernard Shaw and Oscar Wilde to name a few.

With a population of just over 1 million, Dublin has a cosmopolitan and modern feel and has repeatedly been voted Europe’s friendliest city by Trip Advisor.

Alongside this long literary tradition, Dublin also boasts strong links with music, dance and storytelling. As you walk through the streets of Temple Bar you can absorb the musical tradition which spills onto the streets from the many bars and restaurants.

As a city of enormous beauty, Dublin is filled with breathtaking natural scenes which will create lifelong memories.
