Characteristics

All mammals are vertabrates.Most mammals walk on 4 legs other than

most primates and humans.Mammals hearts and lungs are not in their

stomach but are seperated by a muscle of tissue.

All mammals have started from reptilian families .

A mammals lower jaw has a single bone on each side.

Abundance and Geographic Distribution

Mammals can be found everywhere, water, land, and even the sky.

Land: Lions, Tigers, and Bears.Water: Dolphins, Seales, and WhalesSky: the bat is the only mammal that can fly.

Tasmanian Devil, Sperm Whale, Dog, and Human.

Tasmanian Devils are so small but can be deadly as a grizzly bear.

The Sperm Whale is the largest toothed Whale.
