1. Autocratic Leadership– Run everything yourself and answer to

no one– Make all decisions, consults no one– Controls workers through fear– Useful in situations where it’s

important to obey without question– Main style of leadership used in

companies 20 – 30 years ago– Henry Ford, Ford

2. Democratic Leadership– Managers and employees work

together to make decisions– Alfred Sloan, General Motors

3. Free-Rein Leadership (Hands Off Leadership)

work• Employees are more involved• Employees develop potential

– Used at many technology companies like Google
