International Research Conference 2019, organized by JBIMS on March 14th 2019 at ‘ITC Grand, Mumbai’ was based on the theme “Social Innovation”. The scope of the papers was broadened this year to the areas of finance, marketing, human resources, IT and general management.
IRC 2020 THEME: BUSINESS ARCHITECTURE IN THE ERA OF THE INDUSTRY 4.0
Digitalization is a technological revolution and Industry 4.0 is a business disruption. The fusion of physical and digital worldthrough real time data analytics will reshape how businesses innovate and compete. Globalization 4.0 will be shaped by acombination of governance decisions and technological developments. As emerging technologies transform our systems weneed to construct a new synergy between public policy and institutions. Societal expectations of corporations are shifting, aspublic concerns grow about automation, trade, climate change and corporate ownership of personal data and other issues.Investor interests are evolving as data breaches and ethical scandals in numerous industries have wiped out billions ofmarket value. These developments have produced a deficit of trust in corporations. Thus, not only public governance andpolicies are under pressure to modernize in Industry 4.0, but also corporate governance in which it is grounded.
