Our investment in volunteers is proving highly rewarding, hence
the success story for this financial year 2013.
Despite the battle with condensation* and cold in winter, they
still give 100%.
Going back through the pages of history we have seen many
downward trends, but we have always managed to pull through.
Sacrifices have been made by staff, volunteers and members in order
to keep the charity operative. The challenges ahead of us are far
more trying than at any time in our history.
The Trustees have continuously met bi-monthly to appraise the
work of the charity in a manner condusive to the responsibilities
placed upon them.
An arrangement with the Childminding Association of Croydon
thanks to Jane and Barbara will soon be spreading its wings to
Kingston, Sutton Merton, and Surrey. It is hoped that more
Childminders will be joining us.
Our advertising method of by word of mouth is still the best and
cheap! The rising cost of postage will soon put members away from
renewing on time, as it seems that already most prefer to bring
their application with them. Unfortunately, as our reserve is
whittering away at some point we will be forcibly out of liquid
asset.
We are advising members to pay by BAC if they wish but insist if
they do so it must be on time.
It is essential that members visit regularly and also remember
to please ask for and pick up their membership card. We have vast
amounts that are not collected each year.
On this note I would like to thank one and all, Staff,
Volunteers, Trustees Members and above all Suppliers.
A huge thank you and good wishes for this coming year to
all!
