We will scale the five major passes, two of which are over 5000 meters above sea level, following the old trading route, known as “The Highway”, the road in fact is narrow in places and for most of the year is exposed to extreme weather conditions and blocked by snow.

One of the most challenging mountain bike tours in this world

is in The Himalayas. “Reveal Your Wheels” is an Extreme trip

which takes you to the very heart of the deep Western

Himalayas, which offer stunning panoramic view and has one

of the finest extreme High roads which is any adventure

cyclist dream come true - ascending into the thin air at the

altitude touching 5000 meters. An adrenalin rush which

will test you mentally, physically and the finish which will

be an experience of Achievement and Thrill.

You spend two ful l days accl imatizing and cycl ing around Manali which is, s ituated at 1950 Meters above sea

level. It is s ituated in the western region of Himachal Pradesh near Rohtang pass. Our cycl ing route from

Manali to Leh wil l cover approximately 500Kms over a span of 9 days. Nestled high in the Himalayas and

accessible for only approx. 5 months in a year, Ladakh which means the “Land of passes” has been said as

“Little Tibet ” and the last “Shangri- la”. The region is s ituated on the banks of Indus river between the World’s

two highest mountain ranges, The Karakoram to the north and The mighty Himalayas to the south. En route

you fol low barren mountain landscapes, formations of many streams and tributaries leading to make rivers

and some of the highest road passes - expect to cross windy passes, finger numbing glacial streams and

lonely vi l lages perched on high hi l ls.

Route ItineraryStarting from an altitude of 293M towards an altitude of 1925M in an air conditioned coach/car.

Cycling around the town, exploring and acclimatizing. A small warm up for the challenge ahead.

On day one of the ascent, we start the day with some warm up exercises and 45 minutes after breakfast we leave for Mehri on wheel of power passing through lush green trees of deodar and pine.

Cycling along the 14KM ascent to the Rohtang Pass which is known as “The Piles of Corpses”, where on a clear day, one can enjoy some lovely views on the horizon of snow covered peaks and glaciers. Leaving the lush scenery behind and continuing with descent to gramphu. From there we will travel along some unmarked stretches of flat road crossing the river Chandra at Khokhsar. After a short break for lunch we cycle towards our camp at sissu on the foothills of Pir Panjal Range.

We set off with a descent of 22km to tandi and an ascend of 8km to Keylong District Headquarters of Lahul & Spiti Valley. From Keylong we ascend towards 0ur final destination of the day. During the day, we shall be passing through mountain streams that flow over the road. You will notice that the terrain becomes more arid as we cycle on rutty, dusty and rocky road. Our route undulates into the hamlet of Jispa.

Leaving Jispa, wheeling downhill before the ascent. A sense of remoteness of the valley, travelling further we enter the holy land of Lamas. On the horizon you can see the bleak awesome Himalayas.

Departing patseo as we climb towards baralacha pass through a hard and long endeavor. Keep a watch on your left for ibex. Descending into gorge area of bharatpur en route to our luxury camp at sarchu.

Starting the day with some easy wheeling, and then towards some extreme conditions biking as we summit Nakeela pass. Passing through beautiful arid mountain scenery of the high ranges and ascend to Lachung Lapass and finally ease at the bank of a stream at Pang.

With immediate uphill which appears to be never ending plateaus of Mori Plains. Relish the best moment at altitude of 4475M and prepare for gigantic task, leads to scale the best of your pedaling skills, stamina and endurance to do steep uphill of almost twenty KM and make it through the highest pass Tanglang La (5359M) and finally downhill till the camp site at Rumtse.

Finally a flat gradual route to Leh, slowly life starts getting alive as we pedal towards more habitation of humans and get a first glimpse of the Indus River. Time to get together and celebrate life.

Terms & Conditions 1. If you are a racer, we welcome you on our trips. But we run courteous trips and take care of everyone, we accept

all our guests to be considerate of slower riders.

2. We shall be having skilled guides riding on every trip to accompany riders of reasonable speeds, For the smooth

operations of the ride as a whole, we need all riders to be able to keep up with the others, and let guide know

when to get in the back up vehicle if necessary. We will help all riders get to our destinations, but as a group. We

ask that all riders realize that the guides are there to keep the group moving along, and not for individual coaching.

Come fit, acclimitaze and be mentally strong to take up the challenge. It's the best way to Scale Extreme Altitude

with Amazing Latitude.

3. All trips are fully supported by a follow up van driven by mechanic and stocked with water and food, and a first

aid kit. For safety sake you must be self sufficient with the spares required for your bike, we shall help wherever

possible. Back up vehicle is not a taxi for unmotivated riders, it is there for you to take a ride when you are

exausted or feeling out of your depth, or if you plan to do only part of ride. The rides need to move along a reasonable

speed in the conditions of that day programme. For the sake of the group getting to our destination we may ask a

slow moving rider to travel in the follow vehicle. This is needed primarily for long days on any trips. This asks

flexibility from our guest.

4. Most of guest shall be bringing there own bikes, but increasing number may opt for rent, get in touch with us

(charges applicable)

every rider, We are not in a race to reach next town but to enjoy the beauty around, but make sure every one is

accounted for and supported and having a good time.

Before booking the tour, make sure that you read carefully the Tour description, General information and

companies terms and conditions.

WHAT I S I NCLU D E D ?

Following items are included in the trip.

> Land transportation from Delhi to Manali and cycling tour from Manali to Leh.

> Support vehicle accomodation for 12Nights with combination of self pitched dome tents, pitched tents and

comfortable hotels.

> All meals as per the programme with additional support van with cooking staff to prepare hot lunch where

ever possible.

> All trips are fully supported by a follow up van driven by mechanic and stocked with water and food, and a

attending or participating in our cycling tours and related activities need to sign and submit this

responsibility agreement and relase from Liability form as a condition of their attendence and participation

in bicycling tours.

Activities, as the term is used in the agreement, include Bicycle riding, racing, training and related

activities, and participant is physically able to engage in these activities.

I, the participant, am aware that bicycling travel, such as that which I am undertaking, may involve

hazardous activities in remote areas of Himachal, Leh & Ladakh remote areas of India with risk of illness,

injury or death, which may be caused by force of nature, the negligence of Indian Legends Holidays Pvt.

Ltd. , Splendour Exhibition Pvt. Ltd., its owners, agents, employees, or some factors known or unknown. I

am also aware that medical services or facilities may not be readily available or accessible during some or

all of the time I am participating in this tour. Although undersign acknkowledges that there is no obligation

of any person to provide participant with medical care during or after the tour, in the event emergency

medical care is rendered to Participant, the undersigned hereby consents to such care. In order to partake

of the excitement and enjoyment of this adventure travel tour, I am willing to accept the risk and

uncertainty involved as being an integral part of my adventure. I hereby accept and assume full

responsibility for any and all risks of illness, injury or death, due to the negligence(but not willful or

fraudulent conduct) of Indian Legends Holidays Pvt. Ltd or Splendour exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. , its owners,

agents, employees, contractors, or affilated organizations or any of their employees.

I give my consent to take my photos and video during cycling activity and other related activities, for any

lawful use from INDIAN LEGENDS HOLIDAYS PVT. LTD and SPLENDOUR EXHIBITIONS PVT. LTD. without having

any financial requirements.

undersigned Participant, hereby fully release, waive claims against, discharge and agree not to sue, Indian

Legends Holidays Pvt. Ltd and Splendour exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., it's owners, agents, employees, and any

other persons and entities involved with this tour from any and all liability to the undersigned, there

personal, representatives, heirs and assigns for any and all damage, illness, injury or death of the

Participant, while the Participant is engaged in the tour/activities, whether caused by negligence of any

person or otherwise.

I the undersigned Participant, herby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Indian Legends Holidays Pvt.

Ltd. & Splendour exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., it's owners, agents, employees, and any other persons and other

entities involved with this tour, from any loss, liability or damage, including attorney's fees that may incur

in any suit, demand, legal action, or claim of any nature made by undersigned or any representative of the

undersigned, arising out of any alleged illness, damage or death resulting from Participant's engagement in

the tour/activities, whether such injury, illness, damage, or death is alleged to or did result from the

negligence of any person, or otherwise.

I have carefully read the Indian Legends Holidays & Splendour exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. Terms and conditions as

well as Agreement and Release from Liability form. I have familirized myself with all information provided

to me about this tour, and I agree to all stated conditions set forth in the Agreement and Release from

Liability form.

I acknowledge that cycling is an inherently dangerous sport and fully realized the danger of participating in

a high altitude bicycle tour, and fully assume all the risks associated with such participation including by

way of example, and not limitation: the dangers of collision with pedestrians, vehicles, other riders, fixed

or moving objects, pot holes, equipment failure and such. I am responsible for the maintenance and safe

condition and operation of my bicycle and related equipment while attending and participating in the tour.

I have carefully read this Agreement and Release from Liability form, I understand that it is a release of

Liability and a contract between myself and Indian Legends Holidays Pvt. Ltd , Splendour exhibitions Pvt.

Ltd., and I sign this Agreement of my own free will.

I am responsible for providing my own insurance coverage(health, accident, travel, theft etc.) and for

ensuring that such insurance covers my activities and is valid.
