Los mandalas son una producción artística que resulta de un suceso individual, íntimo y privado de cada alumno. Su composición responde a un trabajo de sanación que transcurre en un espacio, este espacio es el taller. Un taller situado muy al sur del continente americano, en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, donde Laura guía y sostiene un proceso sanador que hoy trasciende puertas y se quiere mostrar al mundo atravesando territorios y anclando en el norte, del continente americano, en la ciudad de Nueva York. La muestra “Mandalas del sur” tiene como propuesta recorrerla desde dos perspectivas en forma complementaria. Una de ellas invita a reconocer en cada cuadro expuesto un mandala como obra de arte, librado a la valoración subjetiva del espectador. La

Palabras que se hacen cuerpo y alma desde una hoja en blanco presentada sobre la mesa de trabajo, primer día en el taller, es el inicio.De aquí en adelante la construcción del hecho artístico es una herramienta para curar, para sanarse y ser. Arduo y comprometido trabajo tenemos por delante, lo veremos florecer en nuestras manos a cada paso, y jamás dejará de maravillarnos, todas las posibilidades son perfectas en este emprendimiento.En las últimas pinceladas, nos habremos descubierto en algún sentido, en alguna sombra, en alguna luz, para luego redescubrirnos en el mandala. Le pondremos nombre propio y nuestra firma para que luego sea del arte, esto es, de todos y de ninguno. En el taller no hay último día, el mandala trasciende, es la permanencia.

Mandalas are an artistic production which comes out of an individual happening, intimate and private from each pupil.Its composition is an answer to a healing job which takes place in a single site and the place that we are referring to is of course the works-hop.An Art Studio located at the very south of the American continent, in the city of Buenos Aires, where Laura leads and holds a healing process that today transcends doors.It is required to show it to the world passing through lands and anchors at the very north of the American continent, in the city of New York.The show has as its main proposal to surround it since its two perspec-tives in a complementary manner.

Words turned into body and soul out of a sheet in blank introduced over the work table, first day of job, just the beginning.From this point and on the setting up of the artistic fact is just a tool to heal, in order to self-heal and to be. Hard and committed work we have ahead, we are able to see it flourishing in our own hands in every step, never ever will stop to amaze us, all possibili-ties seems to be perfect in this entrepreneurship.By doing the last brush strokes, we would have discovered ourselves anyhow, in any shadow, in any light, to later be able to rediscover in the mandala, we will named it and we will place our signature as well so afterwards it could be called art, so is this, everyone and anyone. There is no last day at the workshop, mandalas transcends, it is the permanence.

One of them invites the beholder to recognize himself in each exposed picture a Mandala as a piece of art, therefore allowing the subjective value of the beholder.The other one proposes to transcend the canvas in order to meet with a story, with a life, with the transformation of the being in several shapes and colors, to be able to link with the picture´s creator and also throw ourselves to the possibility of facing our selves.Now, before us, we have an artistic expression which has linked both perspectives therefore being able to be amazingly individual but surprisingly collective.

ABOUT ADRIANA_Adriana Celsa Acurso was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a housewife and for some years she has been performing several painting courses. She has dabbled into oil painting over fabric, wooden paint as well as porcelain.Since two years ago she has enjoyed painting mandalas attending on a weekly basis to the workshop named Healing Art throughout Mandalas delivered by Laura Podio.This is her first collective production.

LAURA’S COMMENTS ABOUT ADRIANA_Adriana´s Art shows a personal, vital and unique energy. Brave woman who is not afraid to the colors also taking advantage to the shape. Geometric structures for her own mind are always simple, achieving original and new shapes. It is clear that when she blends the colors she does it deeper from her soul, using less traditional combinations hence creating great visual effects. It seems she enjoys her art, it is transferred to the beholder.

SOBRE ADRIANA_Naci en argentina y vivo en Buenos Aires. Soy ama de casa y hace años que hago distintos cursos de pintura. He pintado sobre tela con oleo, en madera y porcelana. Actualmente disfruto de pintar mandalas, actividad que desarrollo hace 2 años. Asisto semanalmente al taller de Laura Podio y esta es mi primer muestra colectiva.

COMENTARIOS DE LAURA SOBRE ADRIANA_Adriana tiene para su arte una energía única, vital, personal. Mujer valiente que no le teme al color y que intenta sacar todo el partido que puede a la forma. Las estructuras geométricas para ella son sencillas, logrando encontrar formas nuevas y originales. Cuando combina los colores lo hace desde el alma, usando combinaciones poco tradicionales que generan efectos visuales fantásticos. Se divierte en su arte y eso se nota, traspasa a quien lo mira.

ABOUT ALEJANDRA_Maria Alejandra lives in the city of Buenos Aires. She is licensed in social work.She has been dealing with art since her early years, she started working as an upholsterer, therefore taking part in shows with artists and artisans who belong to the west zone of the province of Buenos Aires, AYPO organization, and also she took part with shows in Capital Federal.She attended to different workshops of designing and painting; currently she participates in the workshop named Healing Art throughout Mandalas delivered by Laura Podio.

LAURA’S COMENTS ABOUT ALEJANDRA_Alejandra is an artist who was afraid to say who she is, as if her status was not enough. At first she was too anxious to create and at the same time she could not follow the normal and essential timing that every creation requires, but as she listened her inner voice she gradually managed to bar the painting steps to her impulses. She is a beautiful being who submerges into the painting up to the point to forget the pass of the time. She felt like exposing her works and she is getting more recognized, her paintings are lovely.

SOBRE ALEJANDRA_Nació en Argentina y vive actualmente en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Es Licenciada en Trabajo Social. Desde su juventud se dedica al arte, inicialmente como tapicista, participando en muestras con artistas y artesanos de la zona oeste (organización AYPO) y también con obras en Capital Federal. Concurrió a diversos talleres de diseño y pinturas. Participa en la actualidad, del taller de Arte Curativo con Mandalas de la Licenciada Laura Podio, trabajando al presente, con diseños propios .

COMENTARIOS DE LAURA SOBRE ALEJANDRA_Alejandra es una artista que temía decir que lo es, como si el título le quedase grande. Al inicio sus ganas de crear hacían que no pudiese esperar los tiempos que tiene toda creación, pero gradualmente fue escuchando su voz interna y logró acompasar su los pasos de la obra a sus impulsos. Es un ser hermoso que se sumerge en la pintura hasta olvidarse del paso del tiempo!! Se animó a exponer y cada vez es más reconocida, sus creaciones son muy bellas.

ABOUT ALEXANDRA_Born in Manhattan, New York. She is an Argentinean Resident since 1967. She is a gymnastics teacher, activity that she performed since 1987 until 2000. From that year and on she took a spiritual path performing philosophy kabalistic courses, sacred sciences, Alchemy and angelology, religion, gemotherapy, mystic and crystals . She discovered the Mandalas in 2013 and in 2014 she started to attend to The workshop Healing art Throughout Mandalas of Laura Podio, where she continues attending on a weekly basis up to now. She has exposed her production at the Expo-holistic “FEVIDA SANA” in October of 2013, at Laura´s Lambre Studio due to the event “Gallery Nights”.

LAURA’S COMMENTS ABOUT ALEXANDRA_Alexandra has an overflowing energy, just as her productions. When she began to paint in my workshop she was in the quest of something different from what she already had. Her meticulous work blends the color contrast and the liveliness of the points that populates her work. She works layer by layer, first the bases and after the decoration. Her paintings show volume, texture and overall joy.

SOBRE ALEXANDRA_Residente Argentina desde 1967. Profesora de Gimnasia desde 1987 hasta 2000. A partir de ese año retome de lleno mi camino de busqueda espiritual . Curse estudios de Filisofia Kabalistica, Ciencias Sagradas, Alquimia y Angelologia, Religiones Comparadas, Gemote-rapia, Mistica y Cristales.Comence a pintar Mandalas en Febrero de 2013 despues de una meditacion segun los colores e imagenes que veia y nunca mas deje de pintarlas. En Agosto de 2014 comence a tomar clases con la artista plastica Laura Podio donde continúo asistiendo semanalmen-te hasta la fecha.Pintar Mandalas es mi gran pasión,  me transporta y cambio profun-damente mi vida y la transmito a traves de mis obras.

COMENTARIOS DE LAURA SOBRE ALEXANDRA_Alexandra tiene una energía desbordante, como sus trabajos. Comenzó a pintar en mi taller para buscar “algo más” de lo que ya traía. Su trabajo minucioso combina el contraste de color y la vivaci-dad de los puntos que pueblan su obra. Trabaja capa por capa, primero las bases y luego la decoración. Sus obras tienen volumen, textura sobre todo alegría.

ABOUT ANALÍA_Born in the city of Rosario, Argentina. She lives in Buenos Aires since 2005. She graduated as Public Accountant. She found in art a space to enjoy, create and to find with herself along with her feelings. She loves music, and photography and a few years ago she started to paint Mandalas, activity that fills her with happiness, joy and harmony.She currently attends to the workshop called Healing Art throughout Mandalas given by Laura Podio this is her first collective show. Her creations can be seen at her home, as well as her friend’s lights up her office.

LAURA’S COMMENTS ABOUT ANALÍA_Analia puts in her pieces of work a new and fresh look, always prepared to enrich her work. She has the capability to discover the color and she looks for nuances without any fear. patient and devoted to her tasks, she is able to embellish the shapes that geometry offers and she even goes further in her creative path, which implies to show different facets of herself.

SOBRE ANALÍA_Aneta Lan (Analía) nació en Rosario – Argentina y vive en Buenos Aires desde el año 2005. De profesión Contadora Pública, encontró en el arte un espacio para disfrutar, crear y encontrarse con ella misma y sus emociones. Ama la música, la pintura, y la fotografía y hace unos años comenzó a pintar Mandalas, actividad que la llena de felicidad y armonía. Asiste semanalmente al taller de Laura Podio y esta es su primera muestra colectiva. Sus creaciones pueden verse en su hogar, el de sus amigos e iluminando su oficina.

COMENTARIOS DE LAURA SOBRE ANALÍA_Analía pone en sus creaciones una mirada nueva, siempre atenta a enriquecer la obra. Tiene la cualidad de descubrir el color y buscar matices sin temor. Paciente y dedicada a lo que hace, logra embelle-cer las formas que le brinda la geometría y se anima a ir cada vez más lejos en su camino creativo, lo que implica ir mostrando cada vez más facetas de sí misma.

ABOUT CARLA_Born in Argentina, and nowadays she lives in Buenos Aires. She is an architect as well and she also has some businesses in the real state area. She enjoys a lot art due to be so close to her profession; especially she loves to paint Mandalas, activity which she develops since one year and a half. She also enjoys designing and creating her own Mandalas, she has her creations exhibited on her fan page in Facebook.

LAURA’S COMMENTS ABOUT CARLA_Carla created her piece of work while she was pregnant of her third son; she has a neat aesthetic view given by her architect career. She is able to find the tones very easily she works as well in a calm way but assertive. No doubt regarding to what she likes or not, she doesn´t mind on investing more time on her painting provided her work is as she feels it should be. Now a day her baby is growing among a loving family and this work is shown to the world.

SOBRE CARLA_Nacio en Argentina y actualmente vive en Buenos Aires. Es arquitec-ta y realiza emprendimientos de real estate. Disfruta mucho del arte al ser tan afin a su profesión, especialmente le encanta pintar mandalas, actividad que desarrolla desde hace un año y medio. SOBRE CARLA_ Carla gestó este trabajo mientras gestaba a su tercer hijo, Justo. Tiene una mirada estética aguda que le da su profesión de arquitecta. Tiene la capacidad de encontrar los tonos con facilidad y trabaja de una manera pausada pero asertiva. No tiene dudas con respecto a lo que le gusta y no le importa invertir más tiempo para que algo quede mejor. Hoy su hermoso bebé ya está creciendo en familia y esta obra también se muestra al mundo.

ABOUT CELINA_Born at Patagonia, Argentina; she lives in Buenos Aires city. She is in-charged of finances and management area at a company; she has an entrepreneurial spirit essentially. She considers herself as an enthusiastic person and project developer. Her creativity capability has led her to found the trade mark “CLOTH” a company dedicated to the decoration and furnishings with exclusive designs.She attends in weekly basis to the workshop Healing art Throughout Mandalas given by Laura Podio. This is her first collective production. Mandalas have allowed her to create a link with the deeper art, strengthen her previous drawing knowledge along with the right hemisphere and abstract art.

LAURA’S COMMENTS ABOUT CELINA_Celina turns over in her entire production the deep esthetic spirit which transgresses all her creations. She is a very curious and sensiti-ve soul, always willing to help, permanent entrepreneur who rebuilds herself therefore getting magnificent creations. This productions honor her own growing and expanding processes, generous, talented, with her life as well as the color. She has got an exquisite sensitiveness and I am more than honored to let her take over the curatorship of this exposition.

SOBRE CELINA_Nació en la Patagonia Argentina, actualmente reside en Buenos Aires, es responsable de administración y finanzas en una empresa. Su entusiasmo y su capacidad creativa la ha llevado a fundar la marca “Cloth”, un emprendimiento de decoración y amoblamientos. Ha tomado cursos de curaduría de arte e historia del arte, áreas de conocimiento que la han apasionado. Asiste semanalmente al taller de Laura Podio y ésta es su primer muestra colectiva. Los Mandalas le han permitido una conexión con el arte más profunda.Le intereses los viajes y el desarrollo espiritual, considerándose una persona en constante búsqueda del aprendizaje.

COMENTARIOS DE LAURA SOBRE CELINA_Celina vuelca en su obra el profundo espíritu estético que traspasa todas sus creaciones. Es un alma curiosa y sensible, siempre dispues-ta a ayudar. Emprendedora permanente que se reconstruye a sí misma y genera producciones bellas. Estas obras honran sus propios procesos de crecimiento y expansión. Generosa con talento, con su vida y con el color. Posee una sensibilidad exquisita y para mí es un honor que se encargue del proceso de curaduría de esta muestra.

ABOUT EDUARDO_He was born In Argentina and nowadays he lives in Buenos Aires. His job is based on doing financial calculations and numbers, but in his free time he enjoys of his biggest passion which is create and perform Mandalas. He attends in weekly basis to the workshop called Healing Art through Mandalas given by Laura Podio and this is his first collective production. He considers Laura as his greater mentor.

LAURA’S COMMENTS ABOUT EDUARDO_Eduardo is a being who has learnt how to get the strength by overcoming life obstacles. One of his main qualities is a very sharp and clever sense of humor. His creating process is gentle contempla-tive and rhythmic. He has a shocking handling of the shapes, as well as his chromatic combinations he gets to keep his esthetic personali-ty giving a unique personal imprint to each creation.

SOBRE EDUARDO_Nacido en Argentina. Actualmente vive en Buenos Aires. Si bien mi profesión esta basada en los números y cálculos financieros que demanda gran parte del dia, tengo mis tiempos para disfrutar de mi gran pasión que es diseñar y crear mandalas. Para ello asisto al taller presencial de la Lic. Laura Podio, actividad que realizo semanalmen-te y esta es mi primer muestra colectiva.

COMENTARIOS DE LAURA SOBRE EDUARDO_Eduardo es un ser que ha sabido fortalecerse con los desafíos de la vida. Una de sus cualidades más notables es un sentido del humor inteligente y agudo. Su proceso de creación es pausado, rítmico y contemplativo. Su manejo de la forma impacta, así como sus combi-naciones cromáticas. Logra mantener su personalidad estética dándole una impronta única y personal a cada creación.

ABOUT ELIZABETH_Elizabeth was born in Parana Entre Rios but she currently lives in Buenos Aires Argentina, she was graduated in journalism and she works in a petroleum company. She has always liked plastic arts, hence she has taken several workshops along her life and she has been attending for more than a year on a weekly basis to the works-hop called Healing Art through Mandalas given by Laura Podio this is her first collective production. Her designs are being shared throu-gh different social networks.

LAURA’S COMMENTS ABOUT ELIZABETH_Elizabeth is such woman that I would dare to say she has a diamond soul, as well as her work. Her workshop process was staged in two laps also these paintings belong to her most recent production. Deep researcher of the symbols always going further to th e parame-ters given, following her intuition and her point of view. Alquimist by nature she is patient enough to create metaphysic atmospheres playing with the nuances along with color subtle linked with the shape. Always overcoming her own borders.

SOBRE ELIZABETH_Elizabeth nació en Paraná Entre Ríos pero actualmente reside en Buenos Aires Argentina. Es Licenciada en Periodismo y en la actuali-dad trabaja en una empresa petrolera. Siempre le gustaron las artes plásticas. Tomó diversos talleres a la largo de su vida. Asiste una vez por semana al taller de Laura Podio hace 1 año y medio aproximada-mente. Esta es su primera muestra. Tiene mandalas de diseños propios que pueden ver en su página de Facebook.

COMENTARIOS DE LAURA SOBRE ELIZABETH_Elizabeth es una mujer con alma de diamante, como su obra. Su proceso en el taller tuvo dos etapas y estos trabajos son de su producción más reciente. Profunda investigadora de lo simbólico se explaya creando más allá de las propuestas dadas, siguiendo su intuición y su modo de mirar. Alquimista por naturaleza tiene la paciencia para crear atmósferas metafísicas jugando con los matices y sutilezas de color vinculado con la forma. Siempre logra superar sus propias fronteras.

ABOUT FLORENCIA_Web designer and also a photography lover, she lives in Buenos Aires. She enjoys of art in all its expressions, she met Laura through a friend in common, she has been attending to the workshop on a weekly basis. Laura is who taught her to link with her inner self and developing her creativity in each mandala performed. This is her first participation in a collective production.

LAURA’S COMMENTS ABOUT FLORENCIA_Florencia is a life example due to the challenges she had to overcome along her life. Creative at every level and with a sensitive heart to the pain of her similars, she knows how to make out from every opportunity a creation, always rebuilding herself. Her love toward the art makes her explore different visual areas, such as the design and orthography, which you may need to have a deeper sight also merciful. Her beginnings with mandalas were hesitating, although a little shy but step by step she started to be more confident as well as her intuition with the colors. Definitely a wonderful soul.

SOBRE FLORENCIA_Diseñadora web y aficionada a la fotografía, vivo en Buenos Aires, me encanta el arte en todas sus expresiones. Me conecte con los manda-las hace más de un año a través de una amiga y gracias a ella conocí a Laura Podio, que me enseña a conectarme con mi interior y desarrollar mi creatividad en cada mandala. Asisto a su taller semanalmente. Es mi primer participación en una muestra colectiva.

COMENTARIOS DE LAURA SOBRE FLORENCIA_Florencia es un ejemplo de vida al superar cada uno de los desafíos que la vida le impuso. Creativa en todos los planos y con un corazón sensible al dolor de sus semejantes, sabe hacer de cada oportunidad una creación, recreándose a ella misma. Su amor por el arte hace que explore distintas áreas visuales, como el diseño y la fotografía, para la cual tiene una mirada profunda y compasiva. ABOUT GABRIELA_Gabriela is licensed and teacher in letters. She is an expert in the teaching of Spanish as a second language in Argentina and abroad. She has participated as expositor in several congresses and published works about different topics teaching and learning of foreign languages. She has participated as a teacher and coaching in updating and improving courses addressed to educators in the field.She has been a pupil in the area of arts since 2007 hence attending to the workshop Healing Art through Mandalas. In 2012 she took part of the collective production “Mandalas and Symbolic Art”, it took place at the Ateneo Bookstore in the city of Buenos Aires.

LAURA’S COMMENTS ABOUT GABRIELA_When Gabriela started to paint none who surround her were able to understand why it was hard for her to realize the beauty of her productions. Woman of an infinite sensitivity and a deep empathy always knowing how to value everyone else advances but unable to see he own advances. People is able to see the imprint of her soul in her pieces, fragile, subtle, beauty, harmonious, warm and female her structures can tell what holds her also her strength. An artist who began to appear with a curative energy.

SOBRE GABRIELA_Licenciada y Profesora en Letras, se especializó en la enseñanza del español como lengua segunda y extranjera en Argentina y el exterior. Ha participado como expositora en congresos, publicó trabajos sobre diferentes aspectos de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras y ha participado en calidad de docente capacitadora en cursos de actualización y perfeccionamiento de docentes. Desde 2007 es alumna del Taller de Mandalas. En 2012 participó de la muestra colectiva “Mandalas y Arte Simbólico”, realizada en la librería El Ateneo.

ABOUT KARINA_Born in Argentina, she had her first approach with art since she was a little girl due her mother is an artist as well.She began expressing through the spot and the collage attending to the workshops of Diana Dreyfus and Silvia Flichman who she exposed with in several exhibitions.Once she felt attracted to the mandalas universe she reached Laura Podio who she explores, learns and she states herself since two years ago. LAURA’S COMMENTS ABOUT KARINA_Karina is an incredible artist, with an esthetic sensibility almost never seen, when I met her I asked her why was she interested in my guidance for her productions which were mostly organic, defined as vital and personal to herself. Just after meeting her I realize that she is able to overturn the same subtle touch in all her creations. Her creating process is pretty deep at the same time respects her inner rhythms; she lets her intuition to guide her along the intimate and reflexive path at the same time she shows and undeniable vital expansion.

COMENTARIOS DE LAURA SOBRE KARINA_Karina es una artista increíble, con una sensibilidad estética que no he visto muchas veces. Cuando la conocí me pregunté qué buscaba en mi guía, ya que su obra es orgánica, vital y personal en sí misma. Luego de conocerla me doy cuenta que puede volcar la misma sutileza en todo lo que haga. Sus procesos de creación son profun-dos y respeta sus ritmos internos, su propia intuición la va llevando por caminos de creación íntima e introspectiva a la vez que muestra su expansión vital.

ABOUT LARA_Lara enjoys art, especially painting Mandalas, activity which she performs just a couple of years ago therefore attending on a weekly basis to the workshop named Healing Through art Mandalas Given by Laura Podio.Her first collective exhibit took place on May of 2012 at the Grand Splendid Ateneo bookstore. Her works are being exposed in social network to be shared with family members and friends.

LAURA’S COMMENTS ABOUT LARA_Lara is a light being with such energy that spreads happiness. She has a fresh harmonic and colorful work. She has a child attitude enjoying the process, submerging in her production but without losing the contact with those who surround her so long as she creates, among laughter and self-aid words. The piece of work called “OBA” was inspired in her Japanese grandmother´s handkerchief, memory which she was rejecting to end up. As if she wasn´t able to let go that part of the memory of her beloved granny. I feel touched by due to her attitude before the creation and the capability to enjoy every moment of the learning process.

SOBRE LARA_Nacida en Buenos Aires, abogada. Disfruta del arte, especialmente de pintar mándalas, actividad que realiza desde hace pocos años. Asiste semanalmente al taller de Laura Podio. Su primera muestra colectiva tuvo lugar en la Librería El Ateneo Grand Splendid en Mayo del año 2012. Esta es su segunda muestra colectiva.Sigue diseñando y creando mándalas propios. COMENTARIOS DE LAURA SOBRE LARA_Lara es un ser de luz con una energía que expande felicidad. Su obra es fresca y sus colores armoniosos. Tiene la actitud de una niña disfrutando el proceso, sumergiéndose en lo que hace pero sin perder el contacto con quienes la rodean mientras esté creando, entre risas y palabras de ayuda. La obra “oba” fue inspirada por un pañuelo de su abuela japonesa, recuerdo que no quería finalizarla, como si no quisiera despedir esa parte del recuerdo de su abuela amada. Me enternece esa actitud ante la creación y la capacidad de disfrutar cada momento de aprendizaje.

ABOUT LILIANA_She is a public accountant, three years ago Liliana has been taking decorative painting lessons and more than a year ago she began to paint Mandalas at the workshop of Laura Podio. LAURA’S COMMENTS ABOUT PATRICIA_Patricia´s subtlety as a human being it is translated to her piece of work in every stroke. She follows her own rhythm at every brushstroke with such kindness that even appears to caress the cloth. Female and fragile however hiding a great strength and an unlimited depth. Very wise woman who knows how to turn her love in everything she proposes to fulfil as well as in what she loves. She performed an involving and warm production which is worth to be watched along with the details, just as an infinite plot.

SOBRE PATRICIA_Nacida en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina, actual-mente reside en esta misma ciudad. Es Técnica de Laboratorio, trabaja en un Laboratorio de metabolismo y enfermedades lisoso-males. SOBRE SUSANA_Nació y reside en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Profesora de Matemática y Magister en Estadística pero para compensar el efecto de las ciencias duras disfruta de la música, el cine, el teatro, la filosofía y el arte. Le encanta pintar mandalas, comenzó hace alrededor de cinco años en sus momentos de ocio, con lápices de colores acuarelables. Desde hace tres años asiste semanalmente al taller de Laura Podio y esta es la primer muestra colectiva de la que participa. En el taller diseña y crea mandalas propios que pueden verse en las paredes de su casa o la de algún amigo o pariente.

Laura primero es sonrisa, y así sale al mundo. Después es mirada, encuentro con el otro. La observación, a mi entender, es una de sus grandes virtudes. Es un don con el que crea y sana. Un agudo sentido que usa como herramienta para acompañar a otros en el camino del autoconoci-miento, por lo tanto, en el camino de la sanación. Sus ojos buscan más allá de lo evidente. Buscan en el dolor, en los miedos, en el amor y la fortaleza, buscan para dar lugar a un vínculo consiente y presente sosteniendo la mano de quien toma el lápiz, y luego al pincel. Laura practica el ejercicio de la observación, y digo ejercicio, porque en ella la observación es activa y escandalosamente descubridora. No hay pasividad en su compromiso por guiar a través del arte la transforma-ción evolutiva de quienes inician un camino en su taller. Como artista, esta virtud, la hace simple en la mayor complejidad estructural y técnica. Como ve el mundo, ven sus mandalas. Construcciones de formas, tonos y trazos emergen en un todo que se plasma claro y vibrante, porque cualquier humano puede admirarlo y sentir, sentir y conectar, el mundo de las sensaciones está a disposición: es un mandala de Laura.

BIOGRAFÍA_Nace en La Rioja, Argentina. Artista Plástica y terapeuta artística. Es Profesora de Escultura y Pintura, Licenciada en Artes Visuales y en Psicología. Es Ayurveda practitioner, formada en filosofía Vedanta y en Pensamiento Junguiano. Viaja frecuentemente a India, sudeste asiático y otros lugares del mundo a fin de investigar sobre arte simbólico, mandalas y arte religioso de Tíbet e India. Es autora de numerosos libros sobre Mandalas, ayurveda y Arte Simbólico. Realiza cursos, seminarios y conferencias sobre el tema. Su taller está situado en Buenos Aires.
