• Establishment of Anti Ragging Committee
• i. Ragging in any from which includes harassment by word , action , gesture,
intimidation coercion , physical or mental insult / assault ,teasing etc.which are capable
of causing mental/ physical stress or moral torture or agony to other students or staff
inside/ outside the premises of the college or hostel etc. is strictly coming under the
word Ragging and is prohibited in all the member colleges. All the member colleges are
committed to abolish Ragging in their campuses. Hence, any students who indulge in any
form of Ragging will be subject to penal action as per provisions of law. Students and
parents shall at the time of admission furnish an Affidavit to the effect that the student
shall not indulge in any form of Ragging.
• ii. Use of mobile phone by students is prohibited in the campus of all colleges of the
Association. Any violation will lead to disciplinary action as deemed fit will be taken by

• Our institution has implemented the recommendations of the "Saksham," a report of the
Task Force set up by PCl, AICTE and University to "Review the measures for ensuring
safety and security of women in campuses and programmes for gender sensitization."
Our college has initiated a Women Cells to ensure equity, freedom, safety and security of
girls on the campus. The details of committees and their members are as follows;
o Women Empowerment Cell
This cell is established in 2019 with a vision to empower the girl child to liberate
them from gender bias. lt works for women empowerment through various lectures,
talks and workshops on issues related to gender discrimination, sexual harassment
mental and physical abuse. The girls are apprised of their social and legal rights and
help lines established by the government for women safety.

Mrs.Ani Abraham
o Anti-sexual Harassment Cell
Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell (2013) strives to prevent harassment of women at
workplace. lt keeps a constant vigil on the security of women and sensitizes the staff
and students regarding anti-sexual harassment measures. ln case of any complaint
of untoward incident, the cell under the guidance of the Principal takes immediate
action to resolve the issue.

o Gender Sensitization Unit
This unit has been operational in the college under lnternal Complaints Committee
since 2014. As per the guidelines of SAKSHAM(UGC), the unit now has been
redesignated to work in line with its policy of zero tolerance against any
harassment.
