staff visits all the classes twice in a semester to have direct

interaction with the students. The committee records the

suggestions / grievances and the feedback from the students

Career Counseling Our placement cell arranges intensive training programs such as

POP 1, POP 2, POP 3 for 21 days for all the students during the

summer vacation after 4th semester by our staff members and

various technical trainers. This is a compulsory in house Program.

Also Soft skills and aptitude training sessions are conducted

classwise for the pre final year students. Placement and training

cell conducts technical and aptitude online tests for all the 1st, 2

nd,

3rd

year students on all days. We are conducting IT refreshing

program to improve the technical skill of the students. Infosys

campus tour was undergone by the meritorious students. Online

placement tests are conducted through Skillrack and Smart for

various companies such as Infosys, CTS, Wipro, and ZOHO. We

are conducting mock interview through CTS for the students to

improve their technical skills. We have conducted workshop on

“Android and its Applications” to enhance the knowledge of the

students in the field of mobile computing. Guest lecture was

arranged on the topic of “Cloud Computing with Microsoft

Azure” for the final year students. We have conducted a guest

lecture cum workshop program entitled “Big Data Analysis in

Rapid Miner” to improve the analytical knowledge in big data.

Students who are weak in communication skills are identified and

special training is given for six days by professional trainers from

external agencies like BEC and follow up sessions are conducted

by our staff periodically. Conducting diagnostic test to identify the

various levels like Preliminary, Vantage, Higher and Cambridge

University ESOL Examinations Certificate. Special lectures are

arranged by eminent personalities from MNCs. We also help the

students in writing the admission tests and getting admissions in

foreign universities through ABHS. Guest lecturers are conducted

about admission and visa procedures by representatives from

foreign universities and consulates. Motivational talk is given by

our alumni to encourage the final year students.

Medical facilities Dr.K.Santhanam, and Staff Nurse Mrs.Kanikai Mary attend

to the need of all students and staff. Special emergency cases

are taken to the near byChettinadu Hospital.

Cultural activities In house competitions are conducted every year for drawing,

painting, collage, light music, carnatic music, instrumental

music etc and also students takes part in competitions

conducted by other institutions and won many prizes.

Sports activities Facilities for all indoor games, flood light courts for outdoor

games and track for field events are available in the campus.

We conduct in house sports meet and a sports meet “JETS”

(Jeppiaar Educational Trust Sports) every year and also our

students take part in “TIES” (Tamil Nadu Inter Engineering

Sports). Our institution bagged the overall champions for

both the events for the last ten consecutive years.

and workshop every year.

Industrial Visits / Tours Two industrial visits per semester, one South India tour for

three days in the pre final year and ten days tour in the final
